Two things that President Trump has going for him in his re-election bid is the strong economy and continued support from the farm belt. Farmers Got Billions From Taxpayers In 2019, And Hardly Anyone ObjectedIn 2019, the federal government delivered an extraordinary financial aid package to America's farmers. Farm subsidies jumped to their highest level in 14 years, most of them paid out without any action by Congress. Well played Mr. President.

Ah, yes. Old orange guy gives almost $300B to fix a problem he caused not during the deepest recession since the great depression without requiring it to be paid back - genius lets vote for him.
Black dude offers bailouts, admittedly so far more than the farmer bailout, to staunch the deepest recession since the great depression while requiring it to be paid back (and most, or maybe all, of it was repaid) - evil incarnate.

Auto bailout met with screams of ‘socialism’ from the same crowd that complained about Obama’s golf and deficits. Where are the tea partiers now? The f’in hypocrites voted for their impeached one.

I doubt that the farms bailout means reelection. It would be that if the actual farmers got the money but in this instance only the big corporate farms got subsidies. Small farms are still going bankrupt at a fast pace since the tariffs were enacted.
