was on WMAQ, NBC's local affiliate this morning doing a teaser for his Sunday program.
He stated the Impeachment process has not met a political standard to proceed on Impeachment and wonders why Schiff has closed the proceedings without pulling in more witnesses.
He was just on Willie Geist's NBC morning show and stated the same thing. Has he gone rogue with NBC's anti Trump position or is NBC shifting their attack dogs away from promoting the overthrow of the President?

You don't remember trump blocking many of the witnesses from testifying?

He's probably like the rest of us....President Trump should just put a line in the budget to use for his reelection campaign. The GOP would be perfectly fine with that. He could use it to get a lot of dirt on his opponent. #MAGA

my response is: who cares?

Yeh Schiff realized he has screwed the pooch, and now says he has to listen to his constituency, whatever that is, and make a decision whether to bring more "witnesses" before the committees which means this carries throught to January. This opens a huge can of worms for the democrats because it pushes up against the Iowa caucus and the democrats do want this in the headlines leading up to the caucus.

Don't you think Trump ought to be able to have his admin people testify on his behalf at these hearings? Why doesn't Trump allow Bolton and Giuliani and all the rest to testify, and get this 'nonsense' over and done with?
Seems pretty simple to me - unless Trump is afraid of what they might say under oath. And how can that be, since Trump did nothing wrong, nothing at all?

It isn't like the GOP are listening to their entire constituency, why should the Dems? Anyone who tried to take a more balanced approach was bullied until they retired from office.
