i am not POSITIVE he won't be removed. I am NEARLY certain. but not 100%.
the calculus may become so bad for Republicans that the cure is better than the disease.
Lets hope so. trump has been a pox on the United States. He is a pox the American people need to toss from office.

No need to n"Neener, neener". Just keep reminding him he was impeached. To what end? When he states he the best president ever in the history of the country, remind him he's a member of a very select group. And the group isn't MENSA.

When he states he the best president ever in the history of the country, remind him he's a member of a very select group. And the group isn't MENSA. And he will let you know it was only because of a partisan witch hunt. To which you will have a comeback. And he will have a comeback to your comeback. And, no doubt, you will have a comeback to that.

Your obsession with sex and lies about them seems to know no boundaries. It must be why you love trump so much -> Stormy Daniels

Please do not try and tell me whether I have love for this country. Your drinking the democratic Kool-aid and have fallen prey to the coup leaders.I would swear trump wrote the above post, especially the highlighted portion. Coup leaders indeed. "I would swear trump wrote the above post, especially the highlighted portion. " Believe what I was suggesting Tenn...like word for word...nothing original there..{sigh}

Donald Trump: Symptom or Cause? If you see him as a positive, I would think you see him as the "cause" and wish to have him remain in office and be re-elected. If you see him as a negative, then I think it is important to assess whether he is a symptom of negative things or the cause of negative things. If he is the cause, removing him from office is sufficient. If you see him as a symptom, then America needs to reject those negatives by voting him and what he stands for out of office.
IM(not so)HO of course.

He is both a symptom and a cause IMO. I remember Paul's posts about dynasties starting early on and I believe there were people pushing for this outcome way before the Republicans even picked a candidate, even had formal candidates. On the other hand, he is a cause. He is much worse than Ted Cruz would have been. Because he is rich, lies about his wealth, the GOP has fallen over themselves to enact almost any conservative agenda they think will pass. This has made him very popular with conservatives and some people who do not realize the risks he has exposed us to. Much less would have happened had Ted been elected, because the GOP doesn't want to suck up to him and doesn't see him as a future pocket of donations. I don't think he will be voted out decisively. The important thing to me is he is voted out and repairs are made to various parts of the federal government. Especially the ones tasked with keeping track of nuclear material and those that protect our water supply.

I don't like the policy choices that President Trump has made but that is the nature of our government. But that is not why we are looking at the issue of impeachment versus censure. The American people voted him into office (yes, electoral college/majority vote noted). The Republican Party is going to re-nominate him. A very large percentage of the population of this country find the person he is to be acceptable as their national leader. Will they find a next and a next with a similar, perhaps more extreme, psychological/behaviorial profile acceptable? That is the important question facing our nation as this situation unfolds.

Trump is scary because he has very few boundaries and believe its all about him. Since he's rich and embraced the conservative agenda to stay in power, way too many folks have convinced themselves he is "their bully", and because of that seem to excuse anything awful not directed at them. I'm not sure how many rich naracisists are in the pool that want to be President. Trump made himself a lifestyle brand through his Apprentice show. Its not his behavior really that IMO he was elected, its a confluence of things. There was a huge marketing effort on and towards the RW to reject regular politicians and in specific political dynasties. And it worked. But the weird thing, through Paul's posts, you can see the marketing is already gone 180 on the dynasty thing. The marketing machine is spinning in favor of a Trump dynasty, the complete opposite of what allegedly some voters wanted in 2016.
I'm not sure how pro selfish asshole this demographic is for. But it is worrisome, so I think I'll think of something else for now.

or just the opposite. Re-election and the fact America has spoken.America spoke in 2016. "Hillary". If he wins the EC again, I'll bet that his opponent wins the popular vote by an even larger margin. Say 5 million... yeah, but 3,00,000 of them will be bus loads of brown people brought to New Hampshire to vote. Paid for by George Soros.
