Viking Therapeutics, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. The Company focuses on the development of therapies for metabolic and endocrine disorders. The Company's clinical program, VK5211, is an orally available drug candidate, which is in Phase II clinical trial for acute rehabilitation following non-elective hip fracture surgery. VK5211 is a non-steroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM). Its second program is focused on the development of orally available small molecule thyroid hormone receptor beta agonists. Last week WBA reported earnings and the stock has shown some life last week carrying over to early trading today. How I wish this was my pick last week!!
CVS has been in the big fund's doghouse lately, but the stock is showing some life and approaching a stock price they enjoyed in February or March of this year. The stock is also up in early trading this morning.....
They also report this week, and if they report decent numbers might go positive this week.

I stayed away from investing basics over the weekend because I did not want to see how low I could actually go, but congratulations to whoever won, placed. and beat the benchmark!

Just checked the entries, and it appears some of them must be lower after opening.  It will indeed be an intereting week as some may and fill as the week progresses.  As usual all are subject to good or bad news released each day.  We are off and running......good luck to all.

I have no idea what happened today...I was gone most of the day....hair cut then shopping at 3 different grocery stores...then dragging in as much as I could until DH got home to drag in the rest.  That was a quick way to part with over $200!

Okay I picked CVS based on stock price movement in WBA last week going up on large stock volume and stock price increases.
Monday and Tuesday WBA was way up percentage wise. I imagine some short pickers had to cover  Tuesday morning driving the stock even higher.
Then the announcement they are seeking a private buy out/partner.......so CVS will not be trading in tandem with WBA this week.....
Looks like the word got out last Thursday to someone about WBA. Wonder if they investigate insider trading..... 
I own some WBA and am not interested in any buy out until the price is over $80 a share. The stock has been a dog for a year now and well off highs of over a year ago. I did enjoy the drip buys at the lower price.....now that looks like that is over.....
