As bad as the tornado is it's even worse for our family. My H's brother passes away on Friday. His graveside service was yesterday, Sunday. We have several family members who survived the tornado. There is a memorial service on Thursday that we will attend.
Thank heaven we hadn't left for TX on Saturday or we would have driven right into the tornado.
Friends that we usually vacation with this time of year managed to dodge the tornado but not the bad weather. What an ugly 4 months. We have had 3 family passings and then the tornado. Good times are coming.

Sorry for all the mess Artemis. I have a cyber friend who lives north of Dallas...said he got golf ball sized hail there...he's hoping for no roof damage.

We had a tornado in Memphis right before dawn today. Fortunately, only an EF-1. No injuries and damage limited to trees and a few homes. Not on the ground for long. No injuries.

Thought I just read that there were 4 dead in Ark...due to the storms. I'm in Memphis, TN. There was another tornado in Tarzana, Arkansas earlier this morning which is about 40 miles northwest of Memphis. No deaths there so there might have been tornadoes in southwest Arkansas near the Texas border.
