Damn, I might actually be tempted to make a political donation if it means the turtle might be gone!

Me too! Have been thinking about it since I saw the article. Might do a few others while I'm at it....like any Democrat running in Ga. and a few running for Senate like the astronaut, Kelly..

All he wanted to do was run on "crazy socialist liberals", but no, President Trump couldn't stick to the script! Don't talk about health care, the debt, just "crazy socialist liberals"! Now, he is stuck with this: McConnell faces his own dilemma of having to preserve the Republican majority in the Senate, while also placating an erratic President who demands nothing short of total loyalty. That will become harder as more details about Trump's dealings with Ukraine trickle out. www.cnn.com/2019/10/09/politics/donald-trump-impeachment-mitch-mcconnell/index.html

Mark Kelly, running on an anti gun platform in a gun happy state, He has taken in more money than McSally though. Is running on a anti gun platform when he, himself went out bought an AR15 assault rifle!! He is a strong candidate.

Mitch will definitely be re-elected. He brings a lot of federal tax dollars to our state, thank you very much. He kept a USEC plant opened 10 years past what was determined needed...and that was some high priced welfare, crab legs and coach purse welfare. He only is concerned about the debt when it comes to "entitlements"~~ think SS and Medicare. It is somewhat amusing to watch him have to twist in the wind with President Trump though.

I sent McGrath $10 a few month ago.... Even if Moscow Mitch does win as expected, I hope she scares the shit out of him.

I don't doubt that he probably will be re-elected, but a Senator that brings that much pork to his district should be cruising to victory, not facing an minority party opponent who is raking in record amounts of cash. Change is afoot.

Don't want to be a negative Nellie, but I live around these Trump loving peeps. And he has a war chest. His ad asking for donations to keep the "crazy socialist liberals" from overturning the election...and he has the power to do it. He reminds Kentuckians daily how proud they must be to have the "most powerful" man in the senate from their state. The Supreme Court sealed any chance that anyone would have of beating him.
