I got back last night. I spent around 3k not including cat sitters that I need to pay for. Saw everything I wanted to see. My two favorite relaxing places were Monterosso and Sorrento. My two favorite cities were Florence and Rome. I did Venice for a day. Not impressed but glad to say I saw it. I walked an average of 8 miles a day. My feet hurt a lot even with very good shoes and gel insoles but it was worth it.

Sounds like a great time! Once you've had time to unpack & catch your breath, I hope you'll post some pictures. I’d have to bother a mod to do it. I did take some funny pictures with statues. One is a man goosing me! After climbing all the way up to San Niccolò in Florence, I posed with a statue to celebrate. I also climbed the Duomo. Thought I’d die on the way up but I did it!! |
