Facebook has a member called Humans of New York. People from around the world telling their stories. Over the past several weeks the stories have been coming from the participants and/or their families of those attending the Special Olympics being held in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Some very interesting and uplifting stories including a four part story (the stories are short) how a family dealt with finding out their unborn child would have Downs Syndrome. Some of the replies to her stories were from other parents with special needs children and how they are succeeding despite their challenges. If Interested, here is a link to the Humans of New York's Facebook link. Well worth the read. Facebook: Humans of New York

I also follow them. I loved the series they did a few years ago on the inner-City school in NYC that ended up with the kids going to DC to meet President Obama.
