My favorite is tuna and salmon love these. my favorite roll locally is a double roll - salmon/cuke that's tempura fried and rolled into an outer roll with rice/sesame seeds. yum! if I'm rolling my own, so to speak, I do a mean tuna/salmon/avocado maki roll.

I wondered what I ate Saturday at the local buffet. It was a won ton wrapper shaped into a tiny cup, with white rice on the bottom and a birds nest of sliver-thin greens on top. I think seaweed and green onion plus some lettuces maybe. What was the bright lime green strip of tiny lime green glistening jelly-like eggs or buds-microscopic in size?

I only had sushi once, and I didn't like it. I don't remember what kind I tried, so don't ask. I'd be willing to try it again, with someone who really wanted to. Otherwise, I could live my life without ever having it again.

It's not very popular out here in farm country, so I've never tried it. But I bet it does smell like fish.

Sake sashimi is my favorite too. Plus Ikura [salmon roe/caviar] and seaweed salad.
I could eat it everyday. I'm envious of those who live in an area with lotsa fresh salmon.

I MISS SUSHI!!!! I told DH that as soon as I deliver, he needs to bring me one full California roll, one pepperoni and cheese sub from our favorite place, and a southern sweet tea.

I like sushi, sashimi not as much, just too much fish. I like CA rolls and the other knock-offs even if they aren't "real" sushi.

I love sushi! I think the eel roll is my favorite. But I did have another one that was really good but I can't remember what it was called. It was salmon rolll with kiwi on top. OMG it was good. I really like the spicy tuna rolls too.
GREAT...now I want sushi!

If you're hungry you can really have a high sushi bill...~2 dollars a bite!!!
The stomach cancer incidence in the Japanese is related to eating pickled and smoked foods and not the fresh fish.
The Japanese have a lower amount of cardiovascular disease than USA but the Japanese in the USA have a higher rate.

Tuna Kabachi, Edamame, volcano roll, yellow fin, a couple Karin's Ichiban (22oz) with some warm sake and a very wonderful woman. Gotta love it. I see sushi for dinner ! Should I bring a Geiger counter next visit?
