Rules:

Going with a retailer this week. It was between Kohl's, KSS, or Urban Outfitters, URBN.
Both look like they are expected to post fairly good EPS, and it scares me if either misses on their downside potential. The markets have been punishing stocks that miss or even hit this year!
Urbn looks like the downside would not be horrendous, and might see a decent pop if it hits or beats.
URBN, long.
edited to add, I have a feeling of buyer's remorse and I picked a bad horse this week)

The open for TSLA on Yahoo seems to be out of line with other sites so I will check the Yahoo historical data tomorrow. I had to adjust the open for TSLA and VFF. Apparently VFF last traded on Mar. 1 so is yet to have an official open. I looked into VFF being halted and they are still trading on the Toronto stock exchange under the symbol VFF.TO. The halt was due to they did not have a listing with Depository Trust Clearing Company DRS which is a NASDAQ requirement. They filed for that today but I do not know when it will go through as soon as it does they will resume trading at NASDAQ. Should I use the VFF.TO listing with Monday's open or wait until it opens on the NASDAQ?

Clark, that's a very good and thorough question. Why don't we ask the guy who does an excellent job of managing this contest board …… LOL. This morning I pulled up my "Soft4" graph ( 6 mo./weekly/candlestick, etc.) VFF has had a fantastic rise; I wished I owned some of it.

Just wondering about next week. Will the weakness continue or the markets rally a bit? If a China trade deal can be reached, it probably will be UP. Too much depends on developments one way or the other. Guess right or else! And now. after a ggod 4 days TSLA is turning around and about to bite me good. Probably slide a bit today at the finish line. Argh!  |
