I'm under a doctors care. Starting my third day of vancomycin (sic) I'm living on boost and ensure, plus chicken soup. Although it exits 20 minutes after consumption. The fever left after one day of vanc. Is this a fungal problem mixed in at all ? Could be ? I've had a lifetime problem of CA induced prostatitis. No fungus involved. C. difficile is a bacterium. If you're not noticing progress in a day, or two, best to call the doc and let him/her know. The 10 days of vanc. works for many people. I just hope you're one of 'em! I'm really sorry this nasty stuff got on ya. Showing progress. I'm able to keep food in me. The script runs out on friday. If today (monday) is any indication, I should be ok by friday. I am on 125 mg. 4 times a day. The only reason I asked about fungal was I read it spreads by a spore. |
