Is Roger stone going for a “I did not do it but I did it but I am really not sure if I did and someone else might have done it” defense? www.google.com/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/politics/2019/02/22/roger-stone-takes-stand-much-ridiculousness-ensues/He has people that have access to his phone but could not remember the list of people from 4 days ago... He did not post the pic, a volunteer did but then he did when he went back and check? He just randomly selected that picture amid other pictures without paying attention? So is that his defense? Playing stupid? Other people have access to my phone, my emails etc and probably they did it and not me, but maybe I did but cannot remember... Yes, yes he is.
Remember, Dick "I am not a crook!" Nixon is his hero, and he's best friends with Donald "If I deny it vehemently, it's not true" Trump.
Admitting you fucked up and apologizing like a grown ass adult is not an option for these people.

Roger Rabbit is smarter than Roger Stone.

He needs a pardon or his life is effectively over, wonder if any states are prepping charges as a backstop like NY is for Manafort.

I can't tell if Stone is dumb and doesn't understand 'gag order,' or has dementia and keeps forgetting the gag order exists, or just loves the opportunity to stand out in front of crowds doing his Nixon victory salute with both arms for all the cameras, even if that attention will end up with him in jail pending his trial.

I'm guessing #3. And previously he has suffered no repercussions for his actions, so he doesn't quite get it.

When the big ship goes down, all the little boats surrounding it get sucked under in the wake.
Stone is a little boat.

He's like the other Trump flunkies, so loyal to Trump. Flaunting his Trump status, lying...and really believing Trump will be loyal to him. President Trump will tweet all nice about him, but Stone will realize he is going to have to cooperate to save his skin, then....tweets about rats..And the party of Trump will defend him with all their might!
Second verse...same as the first!

I'm not so sure I believe that Stone can tell the truth. I don't think he'll realize there are consequences until it's too late. When even the truth won't help him.

I don't want him to tell the truth. I want him to go to jail, and never be given the public stage again.

Stone and/or his lawyer is supposed to be in front of a judge today, to explain the lack of notification of his book coming out.

In a submission ordered by U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson, Stone attorney Bruce Rogow said it did not occur to him until after the Feb. 21 hearing that the newly crafted introduction for a paperback edition of Stone’s book on the 2016 campaign might land him in hot water.
“Reading for the first time the New Introduction, while waiting for a plane back to Fort Lauderdale, brought the issue home and led to the Motion to Clarify,” wrote Rogow and other lawyers defending Stone against false-statement and witness-tampering charge.
“There was/is no intention to hide anything. The new introduction, post February 21, 2019, presented a question we tried, obviously clumsily, to address. Having been scolded, we seek only to defend Mr. Stone and move ahead without further ado,” Stone’s defense team added.
