No, you twit. Those are supporters of individual liberties and freedom of speech. Just two of many things which people like you claim to support but of which in reality have no real understanding.

Yes. But I can't get excited over it. Just like I can't get excited over our Republican. lawmakers that couldn't pass a resolution about Black History Month because the Black Caucasus included Kaepernick in the list of folks to recognize. The fact that our roads are shit and they are AGAIN cutting taxes for folks...Or the uncertainty that's been FoxConn. Or the fact that the flagship university's buildings are in a state of hurt because no money has been given for maintenance. And somehow, it's reasonable to expect to have to pay to maintain a 50-100 year old house, but somehow university buildings of the same age are supposed to be magical and require absolutely no maintenance. Now, these are the things that I'm far more vested in. Let's address our needs before we waste time on ideals. That's how must of us need to proceed through life.

You know, I wish everyone who stopped shopping at his store did so because they were supporters of individual liberty and free speech. More likely they just went to a different store that sold Nike because they wanted Nike stuff.
Regardless, he made an idiotic business decision and is paying the well-deserved price. I have no sympathy. I can grudgingly admire that he held firm to his beliefs, while still considering his beliefs to be hateful and misguided.

You have to believe his story in order to admire him. A business owner who was unable to pay his major supplier would have a rather similar story.

I'm going to steal a line from a friend of mine... I'm told sympathy comes between sh*t & syphilis in the dictionary!

It’s not like small independent sports stores are flourishing anyway. Plus a lot of large ones are going out of business.
He was probably in trouble already, either doing it as a last ditch effort to get some people to show up or to go out in a blaze of glory.
