OK then,, open the borders,, jail the users, Yea,, I will go for that! You can't jail them forever, and when they get out of jail, they're still an addict. Now what? You're also very naive if you think there aren't drugs in prison. There can't be drugs in prison, because there is a wall around it. Boom! Full circle.

Any fencing trump puts up will hopefully and should be torn down once the scam artist is out of office. I do not support a huge expenditure for adding large sections of addition barrier on the border because I don't think it is cost effective. I don't, however, see any reason to spend money to tear down something that President Trump might get built. That would be spending good money after bad to me. The voice of reason.

I have read that the border patrol does not want a large concrete wall because they can't see what is coming from the other side. If that is true, shouldn't the wall be torn town if it is hindering the ability to monitor and secure the border?

There are a lot of people who work the border, and there is a variety of opinions out there on if it is needed, or what the best kind is, etc. However, I don't think anyone thinks it will be the panacea solution. Even the enforcement personnel who are in favor of it seem to want a comprehensive plan.
It seems like Trump isn't capable of that. His policies max out at 142 characters, even better if it rhymes.

Build that wall across the Pacific Ocean. Coast Guard offloads 34,780 pounds of cocaine at Port EvergladesDrugs interdicted by 6 different cutters in Pacific Ocean FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The U.S. Coast Guard is offloading more than 17 tons of cocaine Tuesday morning at Port Everglades. A Coast Guard news release said the 34,780 pounds of cocaine, worth an estimated $466 million, was seized in international waters in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The drugs were interdicted by six Coast Guard cutters in 21 separate incidents off the coasts of Mexico, Central America and South America from October to January. "The drugs will leave out of the western coast of Colombia, southwestern coast, sometimes a little further south of Ecuador," Admr. Karl Schultz said. "They head hundreds of miles out to sea, sometimes west and southwest of the Galapagos, and that's how they try to evade detection." Build the wall so they can stand on it or even better rapid express vehicles, so when the Cameras spot something the wall slows them up. the high speed vehicles cut them off.
beside that better view from the top!

Considering fully 2/3rds of illegals come via air I think Trump should manufacture another govt. shutdown so TSA agents call in sick.

How do the drugs get there,, brought in by the guards themselves?? Every time I was arrested ,, they would only allow me to look thru bulletproof glass,, talk over a phone,, After hundreds of times ,, never once could we get those drugs thru that thick glass!!

Prison guards convicted of smuggling drugsA federal jury has convicted four former prison guards of bribery and drug trafficking for their roles in a massive operation that involved providing protection to dealers. Already, 42 other former correctional officers and two civilians have pleaded guilty to their roles in the operation The convictions are part of a crack down on enterprises though out the state prison system that involved prison guards helping smuggling drugs into security facilities for a sizable payoff. you're suggesting we take vehicles into a foreign sovereign country to "cut off" people driving near the border? I think if Canada proposed the same for us, you wouldn't just have a cow, you'd have the whole freakin' dairy.

Why would I want to go to Canada? I have Canadian friends here. in the U.S. Because it's beautiful. Montreal and Quebec City are like visiting Europe without leaving the continent. Ottawa and Toronto area beautiful, diverse, and vibrant cities. Banff is just spectacular. Some of the best powder skiing in the world is in British Columbia.

This sounds great - only making a really, really high wall made entirely out of ice, so it's really hard to scale without sliding down. Then put this elevator up on our side, so the guards can use the elevator to ride up to the top of the wall, and then walk around on the wall, watching the other side for any giants, or frozen zombie attacks - and I think the guards should wear all black, including big black capes, and have, like swords and shit, because that's just so stylish.
It will be awesome! When can we start?

and that is just the beginning.
