which was in the same family for 150 years is going to open to the public as  the family could not afford the taxes for the entire estate.
The family is turning some of the estate over to help limit estate taxes, but at least it is now, hopefully preserved for future generations. This land has the oldest known Redwood tree in California by a few centuries over another one thought to be the oldest on government controlled land.
