Clark, …. yes sir, I think you're right in your thinking. I keep a chart of the point & figure chart of

the DJIA above my computer. It's very bearish; but that's only averaging 30 big stocks. And I watch

the advances & declines practically every day; and the major indicator which is the numbers of

52 wk. highs & lows. But there's always individual stocks that are not in the averages. I've always

preferred long positions rather than shorts when dealing with real $$$$. If you're long, the max. lost

is what you're invested; however, a short can be "unlimited". You know I'm a chartist; and I strongly

believe in the old saying "The trend is your friend". …….. OH YES, GOOD MORNING TO YOU.
