Welcome to the new board! I have seen many posters say they were longtime lurkers, but not posters, due to the fact they thought they were crashing a party, of old friends on the old boards. Well, this is a new board, so consider the fact we are all "New members". This board is so much easier to navigate from group to group, especially when you hit the "new topics" link at the top of the page. I am feeling much more at ease scanning many different boards through this portal, than at the old MSN. Jump in and enjoy the party! Oh yeh, do not be afraid of the Politics and the Markets board. We are not nearly as cranky and paranoid as everyone says we are. Or are we?  |

I lurked for many months before posting. The boards I watched were stock boards and having no knowledge of Wall Street and stocks I felt the need to learn the basics before jumping in and posting. Congratulations! There are a couple of boards that should help here that are basically have the same old board members from MSN. I personnally will miss some of the old corporate message boards back at MSN. |

Hi, another long-time 'lurker' here, tho I'd posted just a couple times. Mostly I came and just sat in on an interesting conversation or shook my head at some folks fussing over nonsense. Good advice, good entertainment would bring me back irregularly. I'm glad to see the spirit of the old msn boards continue here.

I came across the "old boards" a couple of months ago. I mostly read the old posts that had to do with trying to get out of debt, and other personal and decided to come over here to keep on getting insight and info from everybody. It's amazing how much info can be found. They are definitely an asset, and kudos to all the folks that are taking the time to keep them up. The downside is that MSN wasn't blocked at work, but this site is, so I'll have to see if I can get around that.
