before he became President. This article is about illegal immigrants with forged papers working at one of Trump's golf course complexes in the years before he was elected President. Not sure what the editors of the article are trying to do here. They admit the women had forged papers and that Trump was not part of improper hirings, although the hiring staff might have known there was problems with their papers. It did show him as a person who did have some conversations with his personal staff, and rewarded them with good tips for good performance. In other words he was not an asshole with them. www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/making-president-trump%E2%80%99s-bed-a-housekeeper-without-papers/ar-BBQAYz2?li=BBnb7Kz

"Good tips"? You mean like this
"But Ms. Morales said she has been hurt by Mr. Trump’s public comments since he became president, including equating Latin American immigrants with violent criminals. It was that, she said, along with abusive comments from a supervisor at work about her intelligence and immigration status, that made her feel that she could no longer keep silent.
“We are tired of the abuse, the insults, the way he talks about us when he knows that we are here helping him make money,” she said. “We sweat it out to attend to his every need and have to put up with his humiliation.”

It seems more concerned with publicly hurting Trump. Notice they used her and another's real name in the article. Does ICE ignore false documents because CNN NYT or MSNBC will cry "dirty play" and unfair because she came forward? Obviously they are not worried about repurcussions for her even if she is illegal. The green card was given under fake documents.

They don't need to "publicly hurt" trump - he puts his foot into his mouth daily.

More from the cited link:
"Ms. Morales and Ms. Diaz approached The New York Times through their New Jersey lawyer, Anibal Romero, who is representing them on immigration matters. Ms. Morales said that she understood she could be fired or deported as a result of coming forward, though she has applied for protection under the asylum laws. She is also exploring a lawsuit claiming workplace abuse and discrimination."
So the NYT didn't go looking for damaging information -

"Trump! and the hired help at the golf club...before he became President."
From your own link:
"BEDMINSTER, N.J. — During more than five years as a housekeeper at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., Victorina Morales has made Donald J. Trump’s bed, cleaned his toilet and dusted his crystal golf trophies. When he visited as president, she was directed to wear a pin in the shape of the American flag adorned with a Secret Service logo."
Because of the “outstanding” support she has provided during Mr. Trump’s visits, Ms. Morales in July was given a certificate from the White House Communications Agency inscribed with her name.
So she made the guy's bed before and during his presidency.
"Before he became president" is meaningless. Great due dilligence on trump properties hiring.

"The housekeeping supervisor frequently made remarks about the employees’ vulnerable legal status when critiquing their work, she said, sometimes calling them “stupid illegal immigrants” with less intelligence than a dog."
The housekeeping supervisor, no doubt, felt comfortable expressing things like that since trump was publicly doing the same thing.

Trump is never responsible for anything that goes wrong. It's always someone else's fault. Well guess what Mr business man, the guy at the top is ultimately responsible (check out the fired CEO's). But since your company is privately owned you can do anything. A board of directors would have fired you after the first bankruptcy.

I've heard it said that Melania has a dubious entry to America so she was possibly an illegal alien that was hired as a trophy wife. Lock him up!

I don't know why you would think that Trump would have any knowledge about a low level employee that he personally did not hire. Or maybe you think Trump personally hired all 10,000 employees. On the other hand since it has been said on this board about how Trump hates brown people ,,,,, why would he give her $50--$100 tips??

Are you saying he has no control over the people under him- the ones he DOES hire?
He obliviously has hired some people. Perhaps he didn't do a good job when he hired them. Or he doesn't have the influence and control he thinks he has. (shocker!)

I don't know why you would think that Trump would have any knowledge about a low level employee that he personally did not hire. Or maybe you think Trump personally hired all 10,000 employees. it actually doesn't matter, in terms of labor law. one may RIGHTLY assume that Trump is responsible for the hiring practices at HIS resort. but you are not digging deep enough into this story. apparently the same person was also hired at his HOUSE. now, he may NOT have personally overseen that hire, as well. he is a busy guy, after all. but he might have, as well. as the guy in charge, he is responsible. pretending that other people do it is a shameless act of irresponsibility and cowardice. but, of course, that is how he rolls.

As far as the good tipping..this is a man who claims a net worth in the many Billions...even Forbes and such have estimated say about $3 Billion...but lets say it is really $1 Billion....That is in figures $1,000,000,000...….so u carry some bills in your pocket...say $50.00...$100.00...and u tip occasionally...say twice or even three times a day... [doubt that much and am sure he carries $10.00 /$20.00 bills too....but still....this is a billionaire...]

Of course Donald does not do the hiring at his businesses...especially the resorts..Golf Courses.. [Possible has given orders to fire a employee if a bad encounter...but that could be any CEO] However....the atmosphere of the business...heavy pressure to keep costs to the minimum and not wanting to hear about legal problems...all these type of pressures could influence how the managers respond in their hiring practices...also if there is no interest in having a effective and interested human resource department could allow for verbal and other abuses by superiors...no place where workers could turn to too report work place abuses....especially if one is illegal. The problem is...it seems that low skilled workers are needed in the country in many jobs...not enough American citizens willing to do certain work...work for certain wages. Agriculture, dairy's, service industries ...so many and to be competitive paying $15.00 per hour is not going to cut it...so a program of legally having these type workers in the country and it seems it needs to be expanded...is only way to solve this problem...for the country's benefit...for our businesses too.
