What's your point? Border towns are notoriously dangerous. And the article doesn't say that they're against the caravan per se. They just want them at the shelter instead of outside. Plus, the article says that the neighborhood they're in is upscale. If thousands of homeless people were dumped in an upscale neighborhood here, the same would happen. The residents would be urging someone to take them to a shelter set up for them.

... not all Mexican citizens accept ...
... some citizens are not too happy ... I am attempting to come up with a human situation in which "all accept" or in which "some aren't unhappy". Can't think of one.

No one likes refugees coming to town. Dirty, maybe desperate enough to steal, tramping down the landscaping.
Look at Mary and Joseph. They had to put up in a barn, because no one wanted them anywhere else, and she was hugely pregnant.
The more things change, the more they don't change.

Mexico may not be paying for the wall but they are paying for the needs of the caravan. The city expects to spend $4 million on them......welcome to our world!

Why do all the American kids flock to them all the time?

I was sort of wondering when I read four million dollars if this was in pesos or American greenback

Especially since pesos don't convert to the same amount of American dollars. I just googled it and $4 mil pesos is $198,318 American dollars. And pesos don't spend the same. You could pay $20 for something in America and buy the same thing in Mexico for $50 pesos.

I read an article on the internet either Wednesday or late last night on Mexican police taking bribes from migrants to put them on a "list" which is then handed over to our border agents who pick and choose who to interview for asylum. Today I have searched and searched but cannot find it........ People waiting at the border included a few Russians, some Cubans, and a few from I believe, Syria who had supposedly been jailed and released so they escaped the homeland, along with the usual central Americans migrants. It also sounded like pregnent women never were picked by the border agents to come across. The number of people picked depended on whether theU.S. had facilities to put the people in. Unless you bribed the police, you did not get on the list. I now understand why Mexico does not stop the caravans. It is about the money. Wish I could find it today, but it seems to have been scrubbed from the internet today. I know it has to be there somewhere.......

Are you implying that American border patrol agents are playing favorites? Rae they also taking bribes or exchange favors? Do you also mean to imply that that makes our immigration system flawed?🤔
