I read yesterday that PG&E (PCG) might have been the cause of one of the wildfires in CA and the stock has plunged. Is this a good bet to short the stock? What about insurance companies like Allstate? How bad are the fires going to hurt them?

they have set up a multiple billion dollar fund for victims of the fires.
that was through a class action by said victims.

never have liked PGE. it has none of the advantages of a private utility. regulated, and overseen by the state of California.

I love your priorities. fuck the people impacted by these wildfires, how does it all impact my stock?
