Question, Hounds: Isn't there a FREE Polygrip coupon for up to $2.00 off in the 3/27 RP? suzi: I guess there was, but I didn't get it. This week, I was LUCKY to get ONE major metro paper. The Complete was in it, but it was not in the SS from my other paper. I will be going on a peelie hunt on Tuesday as I am going to my mom's to help her entertain her retiree group's board members. Unless there is a hidden deal at CVS next week, it will be a light week, so I need to get all the deals I can this week. After such a difficult time at RA this morning, shopping at CVS this evening was a breath of fresh air. As Leanna was saying, deals come in cycles. I have enough dental hygiene stuff to last us a lifetime: toothbrushes, floss, flossers, dental rinse, and Colgate toothpaste!! Does anyone know how long toothpaste will last past its expiration date? Maybe HCW has something on that.

I ROYALLY messed up. I apologize to anyone who might have taken my tip that Physicians Formula is BOGO this week at RA. I have vision problems and I wasn't able to see the smaller print that it applied to Bronzers only. I was embarrassed at the register, because I had planned overage from the PF that I would apply to my other items, lowering my OOP. It's hard to think fast when you have something unexpected thrown at you. So, I am SO sorry if anyone else did a transaction based on my tip. Don't worry about it Leanna, we all make an error from time to time. I think I make a hounding error at least twice a month or so. It happens to the best of us. Thanks for posting about it anyway.

I just think that it might taste a little weird if it gets too old. Give it away to a good friend or family member. I have done that, and then I look on my doorstep and they have given me stuff that they get for free in return!

Is there anything good at WAGS this week, Dancinmama? I think that I can afford to wait the week out if there isn't much. My RR's don't expire until 4/12.

Has anyone else had the TENA pdf coupon for $2.50 beep at Rite Aid? Mine went through just fine!

GDA at Target on Olay cleansing wipes: buy 2 of the Olay cleansing cloths (blue package) at $4.99. Use 2 of the $2 off any Olay facial moisturizer or cleanser (from last week's ad, I believe). Get a $5 gift card for every 2 you buy, making the cost after q's and gc .50 each, or a tiny bit less if you use your Target credit card. I love these and use them all the time...they are so convenient! Also, for any dog lovers, Petsmart has the Chef Michael's Creations 11 lb. bag for $15.99, and there was a $10 off q (again, last week, I think), making it about $6 for 11 lbs of dog food. My brother's lab is used to the Wal-Mart brand, so she may think she died and went to doggie heaven when she gets this!

New question for those of you who are not brand loyal for laundry detergent: what do you consider to be a stock up price for good quality detergent. I am thinking of something like Tide, Wisk, etc., not Extra. Wisk is BOGO at CVS this week, and I have $2 off q's, so with Ohio prices, I would be paying about $2.20 for each 32 load bottle. WAGS has Purex 32 load bottles this week for $1.99, and I have $1 off q's, so I can get those for .99. Thoughts?

Hello Ladies! I just wanted to post a really great deal. If you are African-American and perm your hair or support a shelter/organization that provides services to the African-American community, WAGS has Optimum perms on sale for $5.99 AND there is a $4 coupon in the WAGS monthly flier....makes the perm $2.15 with taxes! I'm stocking up for my start of the school year gift to the shelters.

I don't have any RRs, but Colgate MaxFresh, MaxWhite, etc. is $2.99 and giving a $2.99RR. Geez, what is it with all the toothpaste deals. I've got enough toothpaste to last a lifetime - which is why I asked about the REAL shelf life. I went on the internet and read that toothpaste if unopened tastes and foams fine for up to FIVE years past the date stamped on the box.

Around 1998 my husband was getting really sick all the time and he couldn't figure out why. Long story short, he eventually figured out it was the toothpaste he was using. His grandmother was like us - always getting deals & storing 'em up. She had given him some toothpaste that was long expired. Not sure how long expired it was, but because of that I would NEVER use expired toothpaste. I don't want to go into details about the sickness, but let me just say that he was VERY sick. We think a bacteria had grown in the tube of toothpaste. Disgusting.

I THINK the bottles were on sale for $2.99 (it might have been $3.99), I used $2/1 Qs and $4/$20s and wiped out what little OOP I had with EBs. To tell you the truth, I REALLY think Tide, Wisk, All, Purex, and Arm&Hammer are all about the same quality as far as cleaning your clothes well is concerned.

The whole coupon beeping thing is crazy. Earlier this week, I went to my smaller RA, and I tried to buy the Physicians Formula "try me free" mascara using my $5 pdf. The coupon beeped and the casher tried it twice. Then she handed it back to me and said "It says item not found." I was tired so I didn't ask for a supervisor or anything. I just asked her to take the mascara off. But I'm going to go back to that RA tonight or sometime this week and give it another go. Despite "studying up" on coupon coding, I still have coupons that beep that shouldn't and ones that I expect to beep that don't. leanna: I have found Rite Aid to be notoriously crazy with beeping and it varies by store. I used the .pdf Poligrip, Tena, and Physician's Formula at my regular store today, and none of them beeped. But there's another store in my area where the things all beep. That store is really bad, and it happens every time. If there's another store near you, maybe you could give it a try.

Has anybody done the Wags Accu-chek MIR? I remember a similar sale to this week going on back in Jan when I joined, so has anyone who did it in Jan received their check yet? Can I do more than 1 per address? Does it matter if I leave the "diagnosis with diabetes" question blank? What about the Omega Fish Oil MIR? Anybody received their check yet? Has anbody come across the Nexcare bandages with the TMF peelies. I can't seem to find those at any of the Wags. leanna : Do you still need that Cottenelle 0.75/1 Q from me? Thanks!

I am a newbie, but this scenario is about $.55 per pound of dog food, granted premium dog food. I recently got 48 pounds of Dog Chow at Walmart for what amounted to $.46 per pound, without any Q's. What do you all consider to be a good deal on dog food? I saw some people getting close to free a while back on the Iams, I think? I just don't want to get sucked into using Q's because they sound like a deal, but when I work it out per pound, it is costing more to use the Q.

Another good dog food deal: Dollar General has the 4.4 lb. bags of Pedigree on sale for $4 this week. Use the $3/1 MC for 3/6 inserts and it's $1/bag. If you look at "price per pound", that's less than .25/lb. A couple other deals I saw at DG this week: Fantastick cleaning spray, 1.50- there's $1/1 MC in this week's inserts Hanes Undies, I know a lot of people are stocking up, due to rising costs of cotton. There is $1/1 DG coupon on their website and in their flyer, and Walgreens has tons of $1/1 peelies that are MC's. My store usually carries 3-4 packs of ladies undies for around $4.

I paid less per bottle for the All at CVS (maybe $.50 bottle after the $/$$, but I can't really remember). In today's economy with prices the way they are, I would say that $1/bottle probably isn't a bad price ESPECIALLY if you can wipe out MOST of your OOP with RRs.

I always TRY to spend RRs wisely, but I have to spend them at WAGs. [/quote]
For those of you that shop at Publix - I don't know if anyone has ever put this on here before, but a cashier at WAGS told me the other day that Publix stores (good to call ahead to make sure your store is included) is now accepting WAGS RR's!!

It is AMAZING how much difference the $/$$ make at CVS. I kind of miss them. There are some food items that I have rain checks for that I'd like to use, but without the $/$$ the price to stockpile is a little high. I have built many a stockpile of several of the items that we use regularlySWA thanks to the $/$$ coupons at CVS.
I got a $5/$15 on my mom's card about a week ago and cashed in a rain check on the Pepsi (6/$20 and get a $10EB). I had not used her card in a couple of weeks so maybe that's why I got it.`
