McGahn  ( the lawyer WH west wing  ) prevented a sufficient independent investigation into the nominee. He and the nominee are pals.  Even Mitch preferred a different nominee.

The guy , name escapes me at the moment , that pushed out (based on b s ) and to protect the nominee the false message that someone that looked similar to the nominee from GP back in the years the nominee was there one who assaulted Dr Ford in some scheme to push the Dr Ford is some mixed up person as to knowing the person whot allegedly assaulted her.

That guy  got sent on an indefinite leave of absence when he was busted.

Again, I point out the investigation was centered on the individuals who had not been questioned by the committee.
I guess like the Mueller investigation you do not give a damn about direction of an investigation unless it goes the way you want it to.
I thank God we live in a Republic where rules and direction mean something to at least a few people in D.C.  place where the ends justify the means.

Some left leaning media organizations are now slowly reporting the democrats are losing the fight with the American public over this, and they have been awakened by the left's insane arguments and lies. This includes some women who did not vote for Trump in 2016, but see the democrats as having finally jumped the shark this year.

I think all the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee should be investigated by an independent special council
