Finally, a Liberal will be charged with thug tactics.
It was one of the most shocking statements to come out of the Wisconsin budget battle. An e-mail, sent to 15 Republican state senators, promising to kill them and their families by putting a “bullet in your head” and using “several bombs.” Now, someone stands to be charged with multiple felonies in the incident. But there’s a question swirling: what took so long?
The “person,” 26-year-old Katherine R. Windels, who was not seen as an “imminent threat” sent two death-threat e-mails to Republicans, both on March 9. The first one was a single message to Sen. Robert Cowles, the second was sent to the 15 others with the subject, “Atten: Death Threat!!!! Bomb!!!”

It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.

I'd like to see said book thrown at anyone who pulls a trick like this, regardless of their political affliations. It's not the first time it's happened, and it's happened on both "sides". It's childish, stupid, and ... thankfully ... illegal.

I guess a lot people aren't happy with Obama's kind of "change".

Absolutely not. On the old MSN forums there were dozens of posts calling for his lynching and assasination. And that was just one insignificant message forum.
To tell the truth, I have not heard of any attempts on our current prez's life....

and yet the OP is ecstatic that "Finally, a Liberal will be charged with thug tactics."
it's asinine all around, but it happens in both directions.

It's the one sided media coverage that irks me. How many of those dead/alive signs did you see on the network news from the Wisconsin protests versus the cross hair icons on Palins' website. Maybe he meant he heard it on the news, because that type of thing is usually not covered.

I don't think it really matters who makes more death threats. I don't think it helps conservatives or advances conservatism in any way to get into a silly kindergarten playground argument over, "They did it more!"
Just be consistent. When one of ours f***s up, nail 'em to the wall. And when one of theirs does the same- nail them.

How did the OP find out? Psychic revelation?
Really? George Bush's approval rating dropped to the lower twenties. Also that report was dated in August of 2009, so way to give Obama a real chance before resorting to the death threats.
Oh, and way to go champ, you couldn't wait to score a political zing even when there's a death threat involved, could you? Wow, when it comes to "let's blame everything on Obama," you people even try blaming his death threats on him. Real classy, I bet your mama would be proud of that.
Until you provide evidence, we'll just regard your accusation as utter nonsense.
When you put your money where your mouth is, Mr. Banker, we'll not just merely disregard it as unsubstantiated opinion.

Pretty funny coming from you when you repost over and over the same tired old macro on how many death threats the Kenyan Wonder gets...LOL!

Who's "we"? Are you part of a team here, or does it take three of you to write your predictable responses?

At this point anything to get the community organizer with no previous administrative experience out of the highest profile administrative office in this country works for me. My conservative mama is very proud !

"I think" is one way to precede the obvious opined statement. But since mkitty was making her answer a little less polite as in references to my mother, champ, etc. I was also getting to the point with a little less manners.
