He never should have been elected speaker. This is the Republican Party's LAST CHANCE to show us they mean business. A good first step would be to remove Bohner as speaker, and elect Michelle Bachman, Jason Chaffetz, or other serious person instead of a lifelong politician.

Big Tobacco is one of the richest and most influential in congress as you know,
then how did they let the price of smokes get out of control?
$11 a pack where I live. It ain't all tax either.
whenever the tax goes up, the cig companies raise the price also.

Try explaining that simple concept to the liberals who want to tax corporations at 30-50%. It's a very simple cause and effect situation. Yet the magical thinking of the liberal brain makes them believe corporations will just "suck it up" and decide that profit really isn't that important after all...

Michelle Bachman started off her working career working as an attorney representing the commissioner of the IRS (1988-1993), she took 7 years (1993-2000) off and all the rest of her jobs have been as a politician (2000-2011). Shes 54, 5 years working for the government, 10 years as a politician, 39 years not working. How is she not considered a lifelong politician?

Post Office is in serious trouble again financially from what I understand, if he was a good American , really concerned in doing his part to help out all federal departments he would have mailed them , typical pub [politician, just thinking about himself, a little walk to the Post Office box , drop them in, not asking for such a big sacrifice, IMHO.

10 years on politics, 39 years NOT in politics. Do liberal dupes really have this much trouble with math? I guess it should come as no surprise.

Then theres those pesky wages and benefits,we should all volunteer to work for free so prices will be more affordable. But we will still need money to pay our taxes so business has streets and infastructure.

Did you bother looking in to this or did you instantly start foaming at the mouth the instant you heard the name Boehner? This comes from a 1996 PBS documentary The People and the Power Game. You're jut a tad late on breaking this story. ETA: It's even listed on wiki. n June 1995, Boehner distributed campaign contributions from tobacco industry lobbyists on the House floor as House members were weighing how to vote on tobacco subsidies.[18] In a 1996 documentary by PBS called The People and the Power Game, Boehner said "They asked me to give out a half dozen checks quickly before we got to the end of the month and I complied. And I did it on the House floor, which I regret. I should not have done. It's not a violation of the House rules, but it's a practice that‘s gone on here for a long time that we're trying to stop and I know I'll never do it again."[19] Boehner eventually led the effort to change House rules and prohibit campaign contributions from being distributed on the House floor.[20]

Yrs as politician = 10. THAT'S how she is not considered a lifelong politician.

turn off your tubes and biased media outlets and do your own research folks. It's actually quite liberating.
