The Great British Bake-Off, or as it's known on PBS, The Great British Baking Show Anyone else watch this? It isn't riveting drama but it is quite charming. Competition by weekly contestant elimination. Kitchen chaos followed by judging. Who will reach the epitome of elegance and who will miss the mark because their finish product is sloppy ... a bit casual. 
In addition to the amusement of watching them work in a tent, the background music brings me a whole-lotta happy. Tom Howe wrote a number of simple yet enchanting little snippets. I managed to track down two of my favorites on youtube. SparkleOrganic Mix |
