I'm not sure I agree with their answer for #6. I do not consider a savings account a vehicle for long term investing.

I see a lot of things on MSN and Facebook labeled "only x% get all these right". But they never explain where they come up with the %. Maybe they just pass the test around in their office and use those results.  |

Only 2% can get a passing grade on this? While I didn't agree on the answers for #6, it's disturbing that so many can't even pass this test.

Disagree with 6 as well but I wouldn’t be surprised if most people couldn’t answer all the rest of the questions.

Well, obviously our school system has failed a great number of people. All of this should be basic knowledge.
Number 6 is stupid...surely the person that wrote this doesn't think a savings account is a long-term investment strategy. I am thinking maybe they got their wording wrong. They were probably thinking along the lines of using it as an emergency fund but didn't feel like the general population would get the connection (seeing as how a great number of people don't even have $1,000 saved).
