Have you ever listened to an annoying car alarm and just thought to yourself "just steal it already!"?
One was just cycling through at least three distinctive sounds and as usual I was thinking just make it stop.

Yes!! It wasn't "Oh, I wonder if I should call the cops." It was more like "Who is the idiot who hasn't shut their alarm off!" But that is only because it's the same person over, and over, and over. **blushes** J/K!!! It wasn't me. This time. ;p

Last year somebody one street over had their house alarm go off & of course they were out of town. It went off for a couple of days. It must have driven their neighbors crazy. It wasn't that loud to me but had it been I would have "removed" parts until it went quiet.

My neighbor's car. All a car has to do is drive by and the darn thing goes off. It's a bit much at 2 am. Okay, you know your car alarm is set too sensitive when: your car radio sets it off your cat jumps on your car ;D (okay that's a pretty good deterrent). it rains

When I first got married we lived in an apartment. We got friendly with the couple below and one morning there alarm clock went of and we knew they were on vacation because they told us. It literaly drove me nuts and went on for days.

This is my 4th edit - guess I have a lot to say LOL old neighborhood - lady new alarm went off every night for about 2 weeks (definitely over 10 days). went off between as early as 9PM to somewhere like 1AM. would go off for hours steadily. Finally one day I was home from work and she had a tow truck outside (how I found out it was a lady). It looked like her battery was dead. I yelled out the window - "your car alarm is draining your battery". Then I went outside and yelled the same. Then went they looked over. I repeated and added your alarm goes off every night - EVERY night for hours - it's draining your battery turn down the sensitivity. no reply from them. Not even a wave. Car was towed and never heard from again.

When I first got married we lived in an apartment. We got friendly with the couple below and one morning there alarm clock went of and we knew they were on vacation because they told us. It literaly drove me nuts and went on for days. When I left my ex, the girls and I were living in a 2 bedroom apt, and I gave them the bedrooms and slept in the livingroom. I needed an alarm that has a (don't laugh) vibrating device that plugs into a special alarm clock, and it is tucked under the pillow or mattress. One weekend we were away to Cocoa Beach, and when we got home, there was a noise ordinance notice on my door. I had forgotten to turn my alarm off, and the device had bounced off the end table onto the tiled kitchen floor. Where it landed had the downstairs neighbor's metal A/C vent below, and they said it sounded like someone in my apt was playing drums for 2 hours. I had to show my hotel receipt to the leasing office to prove I was not home. I felt so bad about that.
