Roasted asparagus HANDS OFF!!!!!!!!! MINE!!!An extended treat for youself this time of year is the price of fresh asparagus goes down for a month or two. Enjoy. ETA: Empress - do you like mushrooms? I like sauteeing fresh mushrooms with fresh asparagus in a bit of olive oil and garlic. Nice and earthy.

We roasted some asparagus for the first time ever 2 nights ago, and it was awesome. (Per the instructions in the recipe, we discarded about 1/2 of each stalk, but they were awesome.)
