Trump J. Basically a chip off the old block...a family of bullies...Calls out the first lady... ===================================== ""Hey @flotus, you say that your mission as first lady is to stop cyber bullying," Lauren Hogg tweeted, "well then, don't you think it would have been smart to have a convo with your stepson, @donaldjtrumpjr, before he liked a post about a false conspiracy theory, which in turn put a target on my back and created a safe space for people all over the world to call me and my family horrific things that constantly re-victimizes us and our community?" -------------------------------------- To read whole article click on link below... theweek.com/speedreads/757235/14yearold-parkland-survivor-calls-melania-trump-sitting-by-donald-trump-jr-cyberbullied

14yearold Parkland survivor calls out Melania Trump for sitting by as Donald Trump Jr. Cyberbullied her. Hmmm. Let's assess. Junior allegedly liked a tweet. Which may or may not be true. We have no verification. The tweet he allegedly liked was allegedly a "false" conspiracy theory. Which may or may not be true. We have no verification of the contents of said tweet.Liking this tweet "in turn" put a target on Lauren Hogg's back and created a safe space for people all over the world to call her and her family horrific things that constantly re-victimizes her and her community. Meanwhile, Melania "sat by" Which may or may not be true. We have no knowledge of what Melania said to Junior, before or after this alleged like occurred.
We should nominate the author of that article for a Pulitzer. And let Lauren know one of her fifteen minutes of fame has elapsed.

She is not happy that Trump Jr dissed her brother...also a student at school , accusing him I believe of saying what he did against the NRA , asking for changes in the laws allowing anyone from 18 on to purchase these assault weapons...claiming brother made his statements for $ paid to him for his statements.. ...which has brought many NRA members and supporters of the second amendment and those believing any criticism or change in how folks look on the second amendment as nasty folks and dissing the brother publicly......and your saying she has no right to those feelings...no right to call out the first lady as she deed in her tweet... and your fine dissing her too....brave upstanding thing u are, be proud.

The conspiracy theory posits that David Hogg, Lauren Hogg's brother, is a so-called "crisis actor" paid to portray a victim in a false flag attack staged as a pretext for introducing nationwide gun control laws. I believe the theory rests on Hogg's boilerplate rhetoric and his appearing in some news story in CA. Real compelling stuff. Not to be out-nuttered, however, CNN is alleged to have scripted their "Town Hall interview" with survivors (this is according to another young man who survived the massacre, Colton Haab). The battle for American hearts and minds rages on.

I feel bad for the girl, but Melania can't control her husband. Why does this girl think Donald Jr. even talks to her about anything such as liking tweets before he does so? He's a grown man and not her child. I feel for the girl, but the correct target is Donald Jr. And Donald Jr. has a history of stuff like this.

hmmm...just so I understand...this girl has had four of her friend bodies blown apart...they are are dead....girl is the ripe old age of 14...bit traumatized I would guess.. Not sure how many of the seventeen killed were her friends. Nor how many and which of the seventeen killed could be characterized as "blown apart". But dead is. Losses are. And none of that was cited in the article, so we won't credit our Pulitzer nominee for reporting on any of that. She is not happy that Trump Jr dissed her brother...also a student at school , accusing him I believe of saying what he did against the NRA , asking for changes in the laws allowing anyone from 18 on to purchase these assault weapons...claiming brother made his statements for $ paid to him for his statements.. ...which has brought many NRA members and supporters of the second amendment and those believing any criticism or change in how folks look on the second amendment as nasty folks and dissing the brother publicly Even Lauren herself didn't directly claim Junior accused anyone of anything. She said he liked a tweet. But according to her, clicking that like put "a target on her back" and "created a safe space". and your saying she has no right to those feelings...no right to call out the first lady as she deed in her tweet... Facts not in evidence.Nowhere in any of my previous words did I make any judgment of what rights one has or doesn't have. Faulty conclusion is.and your fine dissing her too....brave upstanding thing u are, be proud. Grammar, please. I believe the word you're looking for is you're (contraction of "you are") not your (possessive form of you). They give Pulitzers for fiction too but if you have any hope of a nomination, you're definitely going to need to work on your grammar.

"Losses are." is not a complete sentence, either. It is, actually; although it doesn't make sense in the context in which it's used here. retread: What Weltz is saying in her polite, non-confrontational way is that critiquing of others' grammar is frowned upon on YMAM.

Just came across another post regarding the young lady... "I’ve been getting all these horrible messages from Nazis and white supremacists and I woke up this morning and remembered that Melania Trump’s mission was to fight cyberbullying,” Hogg told Huffpost on Friday. “That’s what’s happening to me: cyberbullying. I thought she could do something about Donald Trump Jr.”" The young lady is fourteen f years old...AGAIN , that's FOURTEEN YEARS OLD.. and was in the school...when the slaughter was happening..She lost four friends...[her words] and is now getting these messages....She is blaming Trump Jr. , a supposed senior in responsibility in government rankings ..for the messages she is getting...again, a FOURTEEN year old who just went through a great trauma...and your giving her a hard time? If I didn't know better I could be wondering if u might be one of those who is sending the messages to her...seems your very upset with her and her calling out to the first lady for help....just saying.

Has Melania done anything besides once mentioning the cyberbullying thing?
They said that Ivanka would be fulfilling the duties of first lady, but she hasn't taken up a cause and done anything either.
Granted, I've always thought the first lady causes and results from their work was kinda useless, but I now wonder if the tradition is over, or just hibernating until we get back to a traditional president.

Melania was just blowing smoke up everyone's butts.
She never had any intention of making cyberbullying her cause celebre.
She's married to the biggest cyberbully of them all.

False accusation. Which you're basing on what, pray? CNN was approached by a couple of news agencies who were doing their fact-checking on the story of the scripted questions before they reported it. Young Mr. Haab had gone on the Tucker Carlson show on FOX and made the charge that CNN was forcing him to use a question they had written for him. At some point, an edited copy of the e-mail exchange between CNN and Haab had been released which left that impression. That edited copy was presented to CNN for comment. CNN at that point released the unedited version of the e-mails. CNN had been negotiating Haab's appearance. He had offered three questions that he would like to ask and the potential for a short statement. At that point, Haab's father (apparently a big Trump supporter) sent multiple pages of "background" or "talking points" that he wanted his son to recite. CNN naturally responded that the format of the program did not allow that. It was meant to have a lot of short questions to be able to get to as many people as possible during the limited time allowed. CNN told them that the multiple pages Haab's father wanted read were too long and that Colton would have to stick with one of the earlier questions he himself had offered. Again, Colton Haab had been discussing what the question would be. He offered three. CNN told his father that Colton would have to use one of the three that Colton himself had offered and not the multiple pages that Colton's father wanted read. I don't know at this point who originally released the misleading edited version of the e-mail, but one would guess it was either the Haab family or FOX. The format of the program did not allow several minutes of talking points to be read by one person. CNN apparently did, as I read somewhere, offer Colton an opportunity to appear elsewhere for a longer discussion, but he or his father apparently declined.

Speaking of grammar..... You shouldn't start a sentence with "But". Point taken. I probably shouldn't. But I will. The ending is implied. (But dead is dead.) Style is. See above. I seldom make excuses. : What Weltz is saying in her polite, non-confrontational way is that critiquing of others' grammar is frowned upon on YMAM. I did detect that underlying message. And I quite enjoyed the irony.

No idea why bothering answering your diss of my post I surely can't offer any insight there. Any plausible reason you would continue to post your own fallacious conclusions about my bringing to light the tentative (at best) connections the author of the article and the subject herself made, escapes me.

So, CNN didn't let this guy read his manifesto on one program, but offered another time slot?
Is that really tragic? I don't get the outrage. Every one of these televised town halls have pre-approved speakers with pre-approved questions.

You started off questioning if the young lady in question actually had four friends murdered...also questioning where did I get such a figure....I showed u...the girls own words...something u would have seen if u read the article, it was at the beginning of the thread....for me that was enough...not going to deal with the rest of your jabbering.. Again it seems your questioning if the young lady is telling the truth ...that for me is a bit much and shows something not healthy from your end, especially regarding this tragedy...innocent lives lost......and has me thinking u are one who really does not like hearing anyone dissing the Donald or any member of his family for any reason...seems that's your prime objective in posting and I want no part of those feelings of yours.......so bye....

Every one of these televised town halls have pre-approved speakers with pre-approved questions. Agree with u and it seems CNN was within it's rights to have some control of their own time spot...there is just so much time available and to fill the time properly u need professional programmers making production decisions...and CNN sure has plenty of those... Seems the father, possible the son, didn't want to know about time restraints...possible they thought they had the one message America needed to hear...If so, buy your own time spot or write a book... ------------------------ "Colton Haab, a junior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla. where 17 people were killed by a single shooter last week, wanted to pose a question about placing more armed guards in schools. “CNN had originally asked me to write a speech and questions, and it ended up being all scripted,” Haab told local ABC affiliate WPLG. “I don’t think that it’s going to get anything accomplished. It’s not gonna ask the true questions that all the parents and teachers and students have.” CNN, in a statement, said that is not true: “CNN did not provide or script questions for anyone in last night’s town hall, nor have we ever. After seeing an interview with Colton Haab, we invited him to participate in our town hall along with other students and administrators from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Colton’s father withdrew his name from participation before the forum began, which we regretted but respected.” ============================== radiotvtalk.blog.ajc.com/2018/02/22/cnn-denies-feeding-parkland-student-scripted-question-at-town-hall/

"I seldom make excuses. " Kind of reminds me of reddish blond haired over weight guy who is always on tv a lot the last year or so...he doesn't either...

I surely can't offer any insight there. Any plausible reason you would continue to post your own fallacious conclusions about my bringing to light the tentative (at best) connections the author of the article and the subject herself made, escapes me. You started off questioning if the young lady in question actually had four friends murdered...also questioning where did I get such a figure....I showed u...the girls own words...something u would have seen if u read the article, it was at the beginning of the thread....for me that was enough...not going to deal with the rest of your jabbering.. Again it seems your questioning if the young lady is telling the truth ...that for me is a bit much and shows something not healthy from your end, especially regarding this tragedy...innocent lives lost......and has me thinking u are one who really does not like hearing anyone dissing the Donald or any member of his family for any reason...seems that's your prime objective in posting and I want no part of those feelings of yours....... so bye.... So bye? Then you proceed to quote two more of my post and add your own spin on what I said rather than actually read the words? Truly a giggle moment, for me. Apparently the fact that I'm not jumping on that story like a fat kid on a cookie doesn't sit well with you. Get over it. I'm not built that way. ... should be quite evident for anyone who's less inclined to jump to conclusions and more inclined to read what I wrote. In any situation for which I only see one side presented, I'll always be skeptical of which parts are actually facts and how much has been colored by the person's perspective.

Just looked...see u posted here 19 times...somehow me think u feel it is all about confrontations here...for a few possible but for most of us...not really...just a place to communicate back and forth and get ideas...and I am over it..

Obviously. Since you avoided the temptation to editorialize on what you think my motivations are, you made that quite clear.

No ken a.k.a OMK , I'm not. But if you wouldn't mind telling me who I remind you of, I'd like to look at a few of said person's posts. If you don't want to say in public, PM would be fine. Thanks, Ted

Welcome Ted. You answered my question. I didn't comment one way or the other about your posts.
