Can the mods read the PM's? I mean - not that I've put anything into a PM that I would need to hide from any of the mods...I'm just wondering if I were to exchange diagloge with another member, could the mods go in and read it?
The PM's give this implied feeling of privacy rights, but somehow I wouldn't be surprised if we signed that away.

not that I know of, thyme. I recently CC'd a mod on something, as a CYA measure. I did not indicate in my reply message that I was doing so, and this mod replied back in confusion to say "WTH did I do to chiver?!?" because they don't see the other recipients on a CC. the mod I CC'd thought I was sending this straight out to them. (painful as that was to write out, I deliberately avoided indicating the gender of the mod)
I'd guess that proboards can pull PMs, since they are the host of this site. mods can be swapped out though, so I don't think they are privy to PMs. maybe moonbeam can chime in?

ok.. this question has been asked and answered several times.
NO mods can not see your PMs to others.. and if you are including someone else in a PM, you have better be up front about doing so (as I am) because to not do so is rude.

moonbeam, I didn't realize people couldn't see the CC: list. I am aware now, and intend to note when anyone is CC'd

archie, you have to manually type in the additional names (all in the TO field).. unfortunately, there's no way to select from a complete member list or anything like that..
