I'm lucky to have been able to get out. I was among the affected by the big northeast blizzard. Plenty of people stayed overnight in the airport.
The cost of these things have to be astronomical. Mayor Mike threw a figure out of "a million an inch" as what it costs NYC to handle snowstorms overall. I figure airlines and airports are also big losers here. One figure on the news said the airlines would lose 8 or 9 figures as a result of this. Canceled flights, refunding fares, doling out cots... not free.
Anyone else get stuck?

Ha! I thought you were talking about what men would pay for an extension . . .
I read this really sad story about a paraplegic caught in that storm - they left her wheelchair on the plane when they removed the passengers. She had to use a loaner, which was really difficult, and ended up sleeping on the floor.
