Okay when I hit the share button from the website it sent it to PM. It calls for a half pound of ground beef but I only have one pound chunks. My family got a cow and all the hamburger is in one pound packages.
I'll add the link when I get on a laptop.

I cooked 1# of ground beef yesterday and that will be used for taco salad. Should be able to get 4-5 salads from it. Also cooked a package of Tyson chicken strips. Thinking to throw a few into a saute pan and add a handful of already sliced red/yellow/orange sweet peppers.....again, should be enough for a couple of meals.

I might make a taco salad this weekend. I haven't had one in a long time.

I took a quick look at Budget Bytes that Chiv was talking about. I saw a taco recipe that looked good and included black beans. I think I may just stretch that ground beef a little as I have a can of black beans in the pantry. Dinner is sounding better and better.

I have a package of BSCB in my fridge with a sell-by date of yesterday. I should probably do something with that tonight. hmm... something healthy is advisable, too. I did not like the number on the scale this morning.

I did not like the number on the scale this morning. My scale moved this morning....and it was down. @ 2.5 #s less than yesterday. Doc wants me walking at least 3 10 minute rounds, for now that is the best I can do, but for me that equals 3000 steps. AND I found my Fit Bit this morning so it's charging. I AM going to do this.

nice job! I've not been coping well with keeping my mouth shut until I can give notice at the current job, and it's materializing on my waistline. the good thing is, new job is in town which will come with way more walking. and, with the very early hours I'll be keeping, there will be less opportunity to make bad decisions about food and drinks as well as daylight time in the afternoon (even in winter) to go for walks with the pups again like I did in the mornings while working 2nd.

What I can't do is get my Fit Bit app to work. Everytime I try to log in Apple tells me my user and password is wrong. So, I reset everything new, Apple says OK and when I try to use it Apple tells me again my new user and password is wrong. I just about threw this iPad on the floor and I'm not certain I ever want another Apple product to cross my path.

Pan-fried rainbow trout, jasmine rice with saffron and asparagus.
About $10.

Made stuffed bell peppers with cheese melted on top, it was GOOD! Then I baked a strawberry cake and iced it with strawberry icing, something different. Pretty good.

We went to a friend's house to watch the late afternoon football games. They had cheeseburgers, hot dogs and assorted sides. I contributed a Hormel pepperoni snack tray. Cost me $4. I already had beer in the fridge. I have no idea how much DH paid for the 18 pack he picked up to take.
The last piece of tuna and salmon are thawing for DH tomorrow night. I'll probably make a big salad with grilled chicken.
