If it's done legally...25th amendment...for cause...believe country will survive.. If it is done illegally, there should be riots. I think a 25th Amendment removal would cause riots. If there were impeachment committee hearings, House debate, impeachment vote taken and charges approved, a Senate trial, a Senate 2/3rds vote, and removal, I think there would be only minor protests. I think the only way the 25th would work is if there is obvious impairment. Something like a stroke that leaves him speechless and clearly incapacitated (not that I would wish that on anyone).
I think there are circumstances where Trump would quit so that he can spin his departure in a way that he thinks makes him look good to his loyal voters. I think the chances of that happening are fairly high, should the Mueller investigation uncover legally damaging information. I think if he leaves early, it will be from him voluntarily leaving to prevent legal repercussion on his extended family/business.

Do you think so? I tend to think it’s only a certain element who act insane when they don’t get their way. I don’t care if he does. Pence is there, it’s not like hillary is going to jump in the office. I survived obama, I can survive Trump. I’m not sure the country could have survived hillary but thankfully I’ll never have to worry. if they get Pence out too, would you feel the same way about Pelosi? |
