We bought the non-refundable air tickets earlier this week. Gulp!
It's for our 30th Wedding Anniversary, a trip to NZ's wine/beer country April 17-30. Only two weeks due to the cat. 
Need recommendations for accommodations. Will be flying into Wellington, spending a couple days there to acclimate from the US West Coast. Then ferry into Picton or fly to Blenheim (Marlborough) wine taste for 3 to 4 days. Then a bus over to Nelson for a couple of days (for their famous hops and craft beer).
A stop in Picton either before or after the trips to do a tiny portion of the Charlotte Track.
A night in Wellington again at a near airport hotel for an early flight back to the US.
Other than telling me I need to stay longer and explore more, any and all recommendations are appreciated!
