All true, except for your last. If your aunt had balls, your whole family make up would probably be quite different. Ahem. Where is your sense of adventure man? Don't you want to rise to the challenge? The entire economic system was based on horse and water power 200 years ago, but it changed. Think outside the box. I'd love to rise to the challenge. Individually, we can (and should) always do our best in spite of our circumstances and outlook. We're just not going to make it. I understand the critical importance of hope, and I do have hope for the long term. We share this much at least. really? that surprises me. i would have thought you were utterly bleak on the long term. pray, what is your long term vision, pontiff?

You know the church group I belong to (Living Church of God). Their literature covers End Time prophecy, the Millennium, and the Resurrections extensively. It's a wonderfully broad and complex topic. The university affiliated with the LCG devotes three full-semester courses to it, and these have several prerequisites. Of course I highly recommend you enroll, complete the prerequisite courses, and then complete the three courses. I can already hear you chomping at the bit.

Doctrines[edit]
LCG preaches a message of an impending Apocalypse followed by a thousand year reign of Jesus Christ on Earth.
Other beliefs include: Binitarianism: The belief that there are two God Beings representing a God family rather than one God with multiple personalities (Godhead). These two separate personalities consist of God the Father and God the Son (also called The Word). The Holy Spirit is not a Being, and is considered the very essence, the mind, life, breath and power of God. Much in the same way the physical world is made of matter, the spiritual world is made of Spirit. Non-partisanism: Generally, members should not take part in politics, juries, voting, swearing oaths (members can only "affirm", not swear, in court), or military service.[9] British Israelism: The belief that the Anglo-American people are descended from the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel, specifically Ephraim and Manasseh and are the possessors of the birthright promises and accompanying blessings of Abraham’s descendants, through his grandson Jacob. Other countries believed to be Israelite are Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Israel and Denmark. Many Old Testament laws should be adhered to by Christians today, including the clean and unclean foods, mentioned in Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14:3–21, delineating which animals may be eaten. Christians should observe the biblical seventh-day Sabbath. According to the biblical definition, a day is measured from sunset to sunset, and therefore the Sabbath begins at sunset on Friday, and ends at sunset on Saturday. No paid physical labor is to be performed during this time period, nor any personal activities that take away from worship and family time. These include entertainment, such as participating in sporting events (for example, high school football), going to the movies, theater, dance hall, or bar, and watching non-religious movies or television, except news. Feeding livestock and cooking for family members are allowed. The Sabbath is viewed as holy, and set apart by God at creation (Genesis 2:2–3), and is a sign between God and his believers (Exodus 31:13). Annual festivals listed in Leviticus 23 and Deuteronomy 16 should be observed by Christians today as they were kept by Jesus, the original apostles, and the first-century Church of God, headquartered at Jerusalem. Members do not celebrate Christmas, Easter, saints' days, Lent, or other traditional Catholic or Christian holy days that were adopted by the Catholic Church (and some Protestant denominations) later in history. Regarding birthday celebrations, whilst many members do not participate in large Birthday parties, a family meal or a day out with other members of the cult is often substituted to celebrate and give thanks for another year of life.

You never trim your beard or wear clothes of mixed fabrics? No poly-cotton? You would never touch a turtle or a lizard or a football made of pigskin?

"Many Old Testament laws should be adhered to by Christians today, including the clean and unclean foods, mentioned in Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14:3–21, delineating which animals may be eaten." You never trim your beard or wear clothes of mixed fabrics? No poly-cotton? You would never touch a turtle or a lizard or a football made of pigskin? There are two sets of regulations governing beards: one for the Levitical priesthood, which no longer exists, and one for Israelite men, which stipulated that they not round the corners of their beards, which was a pagan practice in Egypt related to the worship of certain Egyptian gods. The statute regarding mixed fabrics (specifically, cotton and wool) was instituted because mixed cotton-wool garments were reserved exclusively for ceremonies conducted by the priests and Levites (again, whose order no longer exists) in Israelite society. The Jewish tradition also holds that mixed-thread garments in casual use would end up looking ratty due to the threads shrinking at different rates when washed. Although literal statute ended with the dissolution of the Levitical order with Christ's coming, many churches, including mine, regard the spirit of the statute--still in force today--to be an admonition to dress appropriately and to eschew prohibited dress. There are no statutes governing the touching of unclean animals except those pertaining to the eating of meats and participation in various rites and ceremonies that ended (culminated, one might say) in Christ's coming. It's explained in much greater detail here, if you're interested. Incidentally, pigskin hasn't been used in footballs since decades before I was born. Hopefully this addresses your concerns.

End times have already been successfully dealt with by Jericho Cain in 1999. He stopped Satan from unleashing the antichrist in NYC, and Jericho was gasp... an atheist!
This was all wonderfully re-enacted by the great Arnold Schwarzenegger in the totally underrated factual movie “End Of Days” and is on my Xmas list of uplifting movies each year, I suggest watching.

Uh... huh. I do seem to recall watching that once upon a time. Where he literally falls on his sword at the end? And the number of the Beast, 666 (which of course was written in Roman numerals, not Arabic) was supposed to be "1999" rotated 180°, with the '1' lopped off? Good old Hollywood.

LOL yup, it was given a "meh" by critics but was a movie my brother and I both watched separately and both really liked. Then again we both were probably the only people to like "Wild Wild West" as well so that may give you an idea of our movie recommendations.
