The side effects of chemo are hard on some.

Supposedly was going to vote for the new tax laws...even if a rogue Senator crosses it up and says no...with VP to break a tie, should be ok...to bad because it's a lousy bill.. Trillion and a half to our twenty plus trillion debt...then the cuts to social programs to make up the deficits and the ones who will be affected. Not the Donald and friends...not me either...but will say...many of the Donald's base and followers...wonder if they are willing to take the bullet for this guys program...just so he can say he has passed a program he promised his supporters... Especially in four and five years from now when cuts are no more and tax increases will be had...he'll be dead and buried by then most likely...his legacy to his base and supporters and his country men who never supported him...[sigh]

"In a statement citing Dr. Mark Gilbert, Chief of Neuro-Oncology at the National Institutes of Health's (NIH) National Cancer Institute, McCain "has responded well to treatment he received at Walter Reed Medical Center for a viral infection and continues to improve. An evaluation of his underlying cancer shows he is responding positively to ongoing treatment." In addition, McCain's office said he will undergo more treatment at the Mayo Clinic: "Senator McCain has returned to Arizona and will undergo physical therapy and rehabilitation at Mayo Clinic," the statement read. "He is grateful for the excellent care he continues to receive, and appreciates the outpouring of support from people all over the country. He looks forward to returning to Washington in January." ------------------------------------------------- www.cbsnews.com/news/john-mccain-arizona-brain-cancer-treatment-miss-gop-tax-plan-vote/

He's still over 80 and has a glioblastoma, almost always fatal.

I wish him all the best. He is a decent guy and I voted for him in 2008. Unfortunately, I think this will end in a special election for his seat, sooner rather than later.

My aunts chemo is making her really tired. Even the B-12 shots aren’t helping now. At least it isn’t paired with nausea but cancer just sucks!!😡

Wish him the absolute best.
In this day and age shouldn’t we at least consider allowing remote voting for congress (with proper security considerations of course)?

Of course Trump will be praising him as a war hero when he eulogizes.

More than likely, there is no other way to go out but like this. Glioblastoma will claim him. The average life span after diagnosis for Glioblastoma is 14 months. What remaining time he does have should be spent with his family. In the end, that is all that matters. Everything else is quite secondary.
