I'd prefer to remove politics and current events from my entire life! Other than that, I have no answer to your question. Happy Thanksgiving to you.

This feature doesn't currently exist. However, the topics list does clearly indicate which board each thread belongs to. Just avoid any threads originating in P/CE.

I haven't seen this possibility mentioned with regard to V6 (which is coming - umm - soon). It might be something worth suggesting on the Support board.

I just put check marks by politics threads and mark as read forever. It doesn't eliminate them from the new topic list but they "new" tag isn't in your face and you tend not to see them. Works for me

feed into "new topics"? I like using new topics to see what's going on, but i'd prefer to remove Politics and Current Events from my feed. If it's not possible, I'll go back to the old way of just click in each forum to see what's going on. I've put your request out to the Admins on the Support board to see if this could be possible in future. I'll let you know when, and what I hear back.

Thank you, it might be a nice feature for some I can see it being useful for those who use that method to find out what's been added. We'll see what they say.

alwaysbeoptimizing, Here's the answer I got from Michael Stone with ProBoards Support: This is something that I already have on a list of "things users want" however I can't say that there are any plans at this time to implement a feature like this, mostly because you can already accomplish this via search. I would suggest creating a navigation link (or something similar) that automatically links to a search set up to only display the boards they want. For instance here is a search that excludes a series of boards, displays the results as posts (you can always also select threads): support.proboards.com/search/results?captcha_id=captcha_search&where_without=33%2C20%2C143&display_as=0&search=SearchI would suggest that the member create their own custom search parameters, excluding the boards they don't wish to see and then save the link as a bookmark that they can then use to view "recent posts" or "recent threads". Remember to keep actual search terms out of the search and just exclude boards for the best results!
