Shocker? Andy Dick has always been tacky at best. Is it really that hard to acknowledge what you did is gross not funny? Lest we forget, remember the great comics of the 30's, 40's 50's,60's 70's, 80's 90's, 00's and 2010's They came in all varieties, shapes, religions and races, and were applauded loudly by America. Some became persona non grata in later decades, others still applauded to this day. I don't think Andy Dick is ever going to make a list of great comics. I also a bit annoyed with the different time shit. My guess is most women knew and thought it was inappropriate then. They just felt like they couldn't do anything about it. Much like black people being treated like crap back during the timeframe 'The Help' was written. It was always wrong. Its just that those who were in charge decided certain asshole behavior was OK. |

I’m aware, it was sarcasm. Sigh. Why don't people use  or  . If I consider it completely obvious I won’t designate it as such, kind of how a joke loses its impact if you have to explain it, some will get it, some won’t. |

Some became persona non grata in later decades, others still applauded to this day. Along with era, who makes the jokes in the era is also a large factor. I think of In Living Color in the early 90’s, they had a diverse cast that made fun of everyone and there wasn’t any outrage. I don’t know if they could get away with it before or after that time period. |
