against President Trump. www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/billionaire-democratic-megadonor-launches-trump-impeachment-campaign/ar-AAtM4V8?li=BBnb4R7Here we go, he is going to waste several hundred thousand dollars on this while, people are still dying today in Puerto Rico from the aftermath of the hurricane. I imagine many here will cheer his campaign on, which we know it's a loser due to the number of Democrats in Congress (plus John McCain) If he wants to throw money away, why not just donate to a cause that saves lives......... It must be nice to be a liberal billionaire where you can throw money away, and never be held to task for wasting it. BLM could even use it!

It’s his money to do what he wishes with it but I agree. So much good could be done. It’s sad that hate overcomes common sense.

In my ancient world BLM stood for Bureau of Land Management.
This was my first thought when I started reading.

He won't be impeached until he breaks the law. As disgusting as his words and actions are, we have to wait. Of course he's leaning toward amendment 25.

Three Richard Spencer supporters arrested on charges of shooting at UF protestersGAINESVILLE, FLORIDA The only shot fired at Richard Spencer’s University of Florida appearance missed its mark, and police said two of the three men arrested in connection with the shooting were members of extremist groups. Authorities arrested Tyler Tenbrink, of Richmond, Texas, and William and Colton Fears, of Passadena, Texas, just outside of the city late Thursday night. All three were charged with attempted murder. Just before 5:30 p.m., just as protesters outside Spencer’s speech at UF’s Phillips Center were wrapping up, Gainesville police said the trio started heckling some anti-Spencer protesters with Hitler chants, Nazi salutes and threats. At one point, cops said, convicted felon Tenbrink pulled out a gun and the brothers encouraged him to use it. He fired a single shot that missed the group, police said, then sped off in a silver Jeep. An off-duty Alachua County Sheriff’s Office deputy spotted the car 20 miles out of town around 9 p.m. and arrested the group. The Fears brothers are held on million dollar bonds in the Alachua County jail. Tenbrink’s is $3 million. Meanwhile, Trump has wasted over $20 million on trips to Mar-A-Lago in his first 100 days, and that was taxpayer money. Why not donate it to a cause that saves lives?

Rich people waste a lot of money on things I find unproductive. Isn't it a good thing to spend tons of money in our consumer economy? Sure. And this will be no different. They will hire lobbyists, schmooze and grease politicians, maybe use some creative services to create an ad campaign. Pay for printing or billboards or whatever. It will employ people, who will spend that money. Just like when the Koch brothers lobby to get rid of all regulations on gas and oil.

Just think, he actually could have put his money where his mouth is and helped countless people with a home of their own, or college for a poor but intelligent student, or paid off an astronomical hospital bill but instead will piss it away. Yes it’s his money but what an awful waste. Reminds me of those Platinum Weddings or Say Yes to the Dress.

At least it IS his money. And not saying it will work, but how many tens or hundreds of millions would it save just on golf trips, Mar A Lago weekends, post-election rallies, or government flights for subordinates if it did? Hell of a lot more real waste there. And that is OUR money.

I’m surprised you think it’s HIS money. Isn’t the mantra that it’s really the workers that put him into billionaire status?

I keep seeing a lot of "Impeach Trump, Impeach Pence" etc posts on Facebook. They don't cost millions of dollars, and are probably as effective as this guy's campaign will be.

The Mercers are blowing a bunch of money on the Dark Lord Bannon and his vehicle Beitbart, trying to plot their way to populate politics with people like Trump and Roy Moore.
Apparently, we might get to look forward to Brietbart TV.
I guess that's what we get with a capitalistic society - wealthy people trying to buy candidates and votes so they can remake the country to be more favorable to their world view.

So, he said he would pay for it. Now all the liberals here are going to claim Trump would honor a bill, where he had not even signed a legitimate binding contract with someone? I thought based on everyone's claims on the board he was guilty of not paying his bills!

I thought based on everyone's claims on the board he was guilty of not paying his bills! One might make the argument that DT entered into a verbal contract regarding proof of birth. Just sayin' it is not as if this is a "he said -s/he said" situation which might be hard to proof. But DT put it out there for all the world to hear.

Where's Tim Russert when we need him? He exposed corruption across the board. He didn't care who or what party. When Pelosi was on Meet The Press, and talked of corruption in the Republican Party, and how many took money from Abramoff, he brought up Senator Reid having done the same. This country is for purchase.

Charitable giving is a private thing...I will guess he does more then his share in charitable giving and am sure the money gets there...In our Donald's case it's been proven that there is doubt over his actual contributions...if the $ really gets there...and I believe it is one of the reason he has held off on his showing American public his personal income tax...another lie..[ lordy , so many u lose count] that he said...So many of the ultra wealthy , see Gates and friends with their endowments and programs...Doubt we will see much of that from our Donald unless the removal of the Estate Tax does not go through...then u will see something...with his large family and their decendents in charge of with hugh expense accounts to over see them..
