Just do not make anything complicated, you hear me. Or else I'll beat you with a wet HTML/CSS.

Ok. I had the initial set to not collapse because ostensibly, you want to read it the first time but not subsequent posts.

Something is wrong with the board. It looks fine until I sign in; then it gets all weird (like it is trying to put me on the mobile site). Not sure, but it is really messed up and makes the board unusable. I barely was able to find the place to write this.
Might be the new plug in. who knows, thought I would mention the issue.

Ok. I had the initial set to not collapse because ostensibly, you want to read it the first time but not subsequent posts. I was thinking about adding that as an option: "Collapse if Read". But the plugin would have to assume that every post on every page you've visited is "read" as soon as it's loaded. That is, as soon as a post was loaded into the browser window, it would be marked as "read" and collapsed for subsequent loads. This might be confusing. For example, if a member reads the first two posts on a page and replies to the second, as soon as (s)he posts the reply and returns to the page, all subsequent posts will be collapsed. I was also thinking of a "Collapse All" or "Expand All" feature, but I'm not sure where to put it. It seems to me that in order to work with mobile, it would have to be a single click somewhere. I'd prefer not cluttering up the page with additional buttons. Maybe a second little arrow on the "handle" to each post, on the far right, in a different colour, that shows the tooltip "Expand All" or "Collapse All" when moused over? Would that be intuitive enough?

That's a good point, Virgil, and I obviously hadn't thought about how the code would know if a post had been read or not.
As to the expand/ collapse all, that is probably fine, assuming a user is on a pc where you can mouse over something. Myself, I am rarely on my laptop anymore. Only if I'm doing something that can't be done on my tablet, or would be easier with a mouse - and even that can be worked around if I purchased a mouse that works with the tablet, like my bluetooth keyboard does.

I'm using Chrome, and when I checked this evening, the settings were there. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I haven't tried this out yet.
I'm wondering if there's a way to apply it to specific posters? I can think of two off the top of my head I'd love to be able to collapse automatically.

Seems to have sorted for me at this point. Apologies for not getting back sooner; been busy.

How do I disable the collapse feature? Its really annoying to use whitespace to make something readable and then have the plug in smoosh it altogether just to save space. *I* hate reading most of the collapsed versions. What can I do to stop going to edit after posting each time, just to restore just some semblance of readability to my longer posts? TY!

I do not have an option to adjust the collapse feature. I am on Windows 7 using Explorer 11.
