Disclaimer for said polls: the polls were conducted amongst hard core republicans whom may have or have not voted for the sitting president!

From your link:
"Clinton's numbers soon turned around and by the end of June, Gallup had him in the mid-40s. By the time he left office, 66 percent of the country approved."
Let's see what trump's numbers are in 24 days.

Hey, I was shocked Bill's numbers were that bad in his first few months. I forgot how disorganized his WH staff was back then.

Trump is getting his administration together. Family and former breitbart employees.

I'm so very jaded that I think all polls are "rigged" and should be banned! At least prohibited from calling on phone. Mail those suckers out and see how many get returned.

I return all the ones the GOP send me. For some reason they have assumed that I'm a GOP supporter. Bet they don't like the answers I give! And where they ask for a donation, "NO WAY, COLD DAY IN HE!!"

Let's see what trump's numbers are in 24 days. I was just surprised by this report. All we read and hear on the television is no President in modern times ever had such poor approval ratings........and yet, he is beating Bill Clinton. I guess it was just some more fake news being reported. Unless the Russian issue is solved in 21 days to everyone's satisfaction, even I will assure you he will not be beating Bill's numbers in 24 days.

But I still think polls are a load of crap.

Remember, this is the same GOP that asked my Dad for a donation, which was funny for 2 reasons: #1 he'd been dead for years, and #2, Dad was a registered Democrat.

Trump is losing the support of the military. Trump’s Support Drops in Military CommunitiesIn a politically unsettled nation, military communities have long been a rock for the Republican Party, solid and true. But new polling data suggest those places have developed some concerns about President Donald Trump. An analysis of Gallup polling data comparing the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency to the month of May shows that Trump’s job approval in military counties dropped sharply in the last month — from an average 51 percent approval and 41 percent disapproval in the first 100 days to 43 percent approval and 52 percent disapproval for May. My feelings have not changed We, or maybe just me (??) discussed resignation or just anything could happen Impeachment is a long process, so that is out of the question in 24 days

If Gallup and NBC polls cannot be trusted, then the Real Clear Politics information in your link cannot be trusted either as RCP uses Gallop and NBC poling information. Yes, there were staffing issues maybe? I'm blanking. With Clinton? I think so. But why? whose fault was it? It was Clinton's fault. He was the president at the time he was responsible. Just as Trump is responsible for the mess his administration is in now. Clinton course corrected. He didn't have quite the same number of issues that Trump did within the first few months, but he had a lot of issues. Clinton learned and adjusted. Trump could learn and adjust as well, and I hope for the sake of the country that he does so. However, I think it's highly unlikely he will make any sort of course correction. During the campaign he never managed to change tactics or course correct for more than a week or 10 days, so I don't think he's capable of that sort of thing.
