www.msn.com/en-us/health/healthtrending/this-woman-thought-she-had-a-sunburn-but-it-turned-out-to-be-stage-4-breast-cancer/ar-BBBPCn6#image=AAjEyox|6Please read this cautionary story: Woman thought she had sunburn, but it was IBC. Thank goodness she was persistent when her mammogram did not reveal her breast cancer. When Jennifer Cordts noticed a red spot that looked like a sunburn on her breast two years ago, she thought it'd be best to get a mammogram - just in case. The test came back normal, and she was told that the issue was she needed a bigger bra, she told WFAA, a Dallas-Fort Worth news station. Like any mom with access to the internet, she Googled her symptoms when the red spot didn't go away. The first result to come up was IBC, or inflammatory breast cancer. "Everybody was asleep, and I was terrified," she told WFAA.

I read the link, now that I'm home. that's fucking scary. pardon my Latin. I live at the beach, I spend spring (whatever that might actually be this year, who knows) with a base sunburn until my body understands it's time for sun. and yes, I use sunscreen. ugh.....
