What's the deal? Why doesn't the SPG load up on the header? Or is it just me?

I'm not quite sure, Frank. I suspect that the site I'm using for the feed conversion has gone down.
I'm finally biting the bullet and setting up my own server. Having to rely on these lousy third-party hosting services for images, scripts, feed conversions, etc. is getting to be a real pain in the neck.
I'll see if I can't diagnose the current problems today.

Virgil I believe they changed the symbel of QQQQ to QQQ. Program loads for me.

You could send me some karma.  Thanks for the heads up, Texas. Bruce's NaN isn't the reason for the no-load (I'll go in and do a manual fix of that tonight). I had to pull myself out of the game since the SPG seems to be choking on multiple feed requests, and 10 tickers per request is the max. As I said in #2, I've been dodging around putting up a server for long enough. Imageshack servers seem to go down every third day, wiping out various graphics. Scripts are hosted on yourjavascript.com, which seems stable enough but is a nightmare to debug. No place to put CSS files, so CSS all gets dumped into the HTML, making the pages bulky. And the feed converter services are either broken (Google) or not designed for this kind of application (RSS converter). Besides, I need a database backend for the food inflation thread app. It will be nice to have a "real" database behind the SPG too. |

Texas: You're correct. Ten is currently the limit. A pain, I know. The good news is that when my server is up and humming, the SPG should load almost instantaneously.
