Two entirely different scenarios, in his video, it was clear that the Adminitration, that POTUS, in Bidens opinion, misused the intelligence received for it's own agenda.

Does what you both say mean that if Bush goes to war without coming to congress it is okay to be an impeachable act in Biden's eyes, but Obama gets a complete pass for going to war without coming to congress first?

That video is from 2008. Obama is justified under the War Powers Act. He did not declare war, nor did Bush, thus no congressional approval is required. I believe military actions have occured numerous times by many Presidents without a declaration of war. Indeed, and under that act both Bush and Obama are within their executive powers to do what they did. So why were Biden and other Dems (not to mention many liberals) chomping at the bit to impeach/kill Bush but are ironically silent on Obama doing the same thing?

"kill Bush ", is that a ed ism??? He, Biden was objecting to Bush misusing, in his mind , the intelligence given to him to push his agenda, the intelligrnce given him was not clear that the weapons were there, in Bidens opinion, he manipul;ated amd mis used it , again , in Bidens opinion.

"On January 20th, 2009, if George Bush and Dick Cheney are not appropriately held to account this Administration will hand off a toolbox with more powers than any President has ever had, more powers than the founders could have imagined. And that box may be handed to Hillary Clinton or it may be handed to Mitt Romney or Barack Obama or someone else. But whoever gets it, one of the things we know about power is that people don't give away the tools." — John Nichols www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/07132007/profile.html Interesting show from a few years ago. Predictive?

Ahhh yes, the ones who were not happy with our President, isn't free speech great, though this middle to the left feel asuch signs and tee shirts , worn or shown in publlic, have nothing to do with free speech and a arrest and automatic fine, $1000 would be fin with me, bet it would cut it down, and no thrown out or deluting the penalty.

The more Biden talks the more sensible Moonbeam Brown sounds. If he was my VP I would lock him in a closet.

Well, I think the issue is that both Biden and Obama said the president doesn't have the authority to attack another country unless we are attacked first or there is an imminent attack.
And it is a war if you don't land, the meaning of declaring war is changing the the status between the United States and "the other country" from a peaceful setting to a non-peaceful one. Only congress can authorize the United States to initiate hostilities against another country. Attacking another sovereign country is an act of war, Libya posed no imminent threat to the United States and had not attacked the United States first.

both Biden and Obama said . . . . . "Attacking another sovereign country is an act of war" Yeah, come to think of it I remember them saying that, too. And Biden is the only sitting Vice President who has said he would call for the impeachment of a president for doing it. Am I wrong? Just more evidence that as it was pointed out earlier. . . . Love IS blind.

Yeah, ed, but let's see how long before some liberal, or maybe just left of center type, points out that Biden wasn't Vice President when he said it,, , , , so it don't count any more. You know, , , different plays for different days , , , and since liberals make up the rules as they go along anyway, why expect things to be different now?
I certainly don't. I just want these days to be OVER with so the country can go back to being America again.

Does anyone know if Vice President Joe Biden does finally support Odyssey Dawn? I understand he was asked if he supported Odyssey Dawn and he said No he never gave that Rock Group any monetary donations...and he is a big Rolling Stones and Greatful Dead fan but not Odyssey Dawn....

I guess Biden and Obama weren't the only two who thought the President should seek Congressional approval to use force. "If the administration believes that any, any use of force against Iran is necessary, the president must come to Congress to seek that authority," "It would be a mistake of historical proportion if the administration thought that the 2002 resolution authorizing force against Iraq was a blank check for the use of force against Iran without further congressional authorization ..."
