I was scoffed at years ago, on this very forum, for suggesting that random vehicle attacks will soon be used for terror attacks. (vehicles are for transportation, guns are for killing, I was told) It was on those endless gun threads we used to have running all the time. It kind of sucks to be right about that.  |

How does the driver just disappear into the crowd without someone paying attention?

How does the driver just disappear into the crowd without someone paying attention? It's the hiding in plain view thing. Fall down by the truck or move below sightlines for a second or two. Then act like everyone else. Works 99% of the time. Only a trained observer will disregard the escape hysteria and simply watch who gets out of the drivers seat. Fight/flight reflex takes over the higher brain functions. IE; A highly experienced martial arts fighter or long time soldier has a good chance of identifying the driver. |
