Preferring the liberal echo chamber to the facts is about as losing a decision as one could make in my opinion. We've often disagreed, but I would never have described you as mindlessly one-sided. Stubborn. Misinformed. But not altogether dismissive of facts. i prefer the truth. i just don't see a lot of it on this board. mostly spin. and yeah, i am tired of it. When you call the truth "spin" it's time to open your mind to the possibility you're the one who has been taken in by spin, and not the other way around. Trump is COMPLETELY VINDICATED, and in the process the worst crime in American history has been revealed. They're pretty fucking deep in the quicksand right now. The use by the Obama regime of foreign intelligence assets to do oppo research on political opponents, and Susan Rice's unmasking and setting the leaks in motion if not leaking them herself puts Hillary Clinton's statement during one of her many infamous tirades, "If that ************ wins, we'll all hang from nooses" in perspective, doesn't it? In less than 20 minutes on MSNBC, Susan Rice exposed the entire Obama Russian motive:theconservativetreehouse.com/2017/04/04/in-less-than-2-minutes-on-msnbc-susan-rice-exposed-the-entire-obama-russian-motive/Fresh Evidence The Russia Scandal Is A Team Obama Operation:nypost.com/2017/04/03/fresh-evidence-the-russia-scandal-is-a-team-obama-operation/Obama and company are so fucked right now

How many times do conservatives have to be right for you lefties to see it? You've got us on technicalities- like a lack of direct evidence that Obama personally climbed a telephone poll back of Trump tower and spliced a line into Trump's phone wires. Trump was right in every substantive way that he was being spied on, and you're all clinging to ridiculous technicalities.

If you want to be correct, you can start with the basics. Prove a wiretap was put in Trump tower for the purpose of spying on Trump. Trump staffers calling Russians who are being wire-tapped, does not count.
Trump is Wrong. You are Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

Makes you wonder if there are more than 5 people in DC. Send like the same names keep popping up. I can't remember who it was, but even before these revelations surfaced one of the prominent DC critics had dubbed Ms. Rice "the Typhoid Mary of DC" for her tendency to infect anyone/anything she touched with scandal.

Are you talking about Ms. Rice or the real Typhoid Mary? Typhoid Mary was a real figure from the early 20th Century who kept breaking quarantines and infecting people with typhoid fever. The analogy is that Ms. Rice is "infecting" other actors in the White House with the many boondoggles she's been involved in, including her ill-timed defense of Sgt. Bergdahl and her leading role in the infamous "offensive video" misinformation campaign right after the Benghazi attacks. Personally I think that--up until this--she was just the unlucky soul whose job it was to spin doctor whatever Pres. Obama wanted spin doctored.

"This" is nothing so far though. I don't see any evidence that it will be anything but nothing either. Another deflection. A tossed shiny penny is still just a penny.

I summarized all known dimensions of "Russiagate" on the previous page. Unless you've got something to add to it, it's a fantastic non-story. I don't know if anything will come of these allegations with Ms. Rice either, but at least there's still potential there.

It's beyond alternative facts, I believe. I'm calling it magical thinking. Using "the secret" or "think and grow rich" type techniques, it seems he thinks he can will his alternative facts into being true. If only enough people keep clapping!

Who says Pizzagate is discredited? This is the thing- I keep hearing this or that has been "debunked" or hearing reports that lead with "discredited" this that or the other-- but which offer no real information. I will agree completely that the Pizzagate story was overblown, but no serious person can not still have some questions about what the fuck is going on with these whackdoodles? I have zero doubt- none- that Andrew Breitbart was correct about John Podesta. The man is a creep-- and Joe Biden is so overtly publicly creepy it's literally inexplicable. I don't want to get off onto the topic- that's not the point. The point is that there's been no serious investigation (there could be one ongoing we don't know about) and nothing can be "debunked" or "discredited" absent an official investigation- especially when the charges are so serious. Point being- I'm going to do the smart thing and wait and see on that. Bearing in mind (before you say anything, prepare to shut the fuck up) that Alex Jones is a nut job, and he did retract his statement, but it seems he did so more to avoid civil liability than anything else. And the civil is vastly different from the criminal.

Fortunately for us Trump is not filling any positions with people in the 'who you know' category.

The sad thing about the spin factor and the lack of truth though is... both sides are guilty of it. The fact of the matter is, Trump will likely end up being a mediocre President AT BEST... Mediocre bad or mediocre good I'm not sure which way the coin will fall... He'll fix what can easily be fixed of Obama's messes (like reversing the bad EO's that he can reverse), but most of the messes are out of his personal control (Obamacare, for example... if that gets fixed it will be Congress that does it. But that's a big "IF", Yuuuge!). If you were at all well educated then you at least seek the truth. The truth is the only thing I seek. It gets harder and harder to find though... as it gets deeply buried b y layers and layers of history re-writing, false crap, accusations, and innuendo... such as what you just posted.

Just curious... you do know that the phrase "like white on rice" refers to the grain "rice"... not the obviously NON-white Susan Rice... right? vs. (she is female though, so congratulations, you got it 50% right!)

You are right. I pulled up a different pic earlier and her skin tone looked white. I made a mistake. My bias is showing, as it feels like being a white woman at work is not a good or OK thing anymore.

How about real stuff -
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Bannon
Before assuming the White House position, Bannon was the chief executive officer of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.[6][7] Before his political career, he was executive chair of Breitbart News, a far-right news, opinion, and commentary website[17][18] which he described in 2016 as "the platform for the alt-right".

www.gq.com/story/trump-russia-media-attacks
Donald Trump is bad at so many things. Empathy. Hair care. Not being a puppet for terrifying masters both domestic and foreign (co–Presidents Bannon and Putin, respectively). But one thing that Donald Trump is legitimately good at is manipulating the media. Throughout the entire presidential campaign, Trump proved, time and time again, that all it took to drive the news cycle away from whatever he didn't want news outlets to focus on was to be willing to look like an idiot about something else. (It's amazing what being born without the part of your brain that lets you feel shame can lead to.)
So now that the media is on to the scent of the Russia story, Trump is trying to—ahem—distract them. What does this tell us? Well, if you ask me, this is just one more compelling piece of circumstantial evidence that the Russia stories are all true.

I want the investigation to happen. I want to know if they were also investigating Bernie Sanders illegally after he started winning state elections and giving Hillary info on how to defeat him. I am thinking it was not all Trump all the time in their cross hairs.

More Trump media connections, although this is old, but more recent than Susan Rice.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corey_Lewandowski

He is a political commentator for One America News Network (OANN) and Fox News Channel (FNC) and a former political commentator for the Cable News Network (CNN), as well as a former campaign manager of Donald Trump's 2016 campaign for President of the United States from January 2015 to June 2016.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

And who could forget-
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Ailes
Roger Eugene Ailes (born May 15, 1940) is an American media consultant and television executive.
He is the founder and former Chairman and CEO of Fox News and the Fox Television Stations Group, from which he resigned in July 2016 following allegations that he sexually harassed female colleagues. Ailes was a media consultant for Republican presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and George H. W. Bush,[1] and for Rudy Giuliani's first mayoral campaign. In 2016, he was an adviser to the Donald Trump campaign, where he assisted with debate preparation.[2]

Opti: I think you're trying for a tu quoque, but you've inadvertently strengthened the argument that personal relationships between news outlets and a White House administration lead to more favourable coverage from the news outlets, which is precisely Paul's point. The examples you want to find are: i) cases where a major figure at any of the networks Paul names is closely tied to somebody in the Trump administration, and ii) cases where a harsh critic of Pres. Obama or a major figure at an outlet highly critical of him (e.g. Breitbart, FOX, etc.) was closely tied to somebody in the Obama administration. These are the kinds of examples that would weaken the claim that close personal ties equate to biased media coverage.

I am thinking it was not all Trump all the time in their cross hairs. We know for a fact- zero doubt- that they recorded Gen. Flynn and then leaked it to the NY Times. We also know that Obama spied on Agela Merckel.
