Elena Delle Donne of the WNBA is 332/352 (94.3%) in her WNBA career. The last NBA player to attempt at least 300 free throws in a single season while making at least 94% of them was Price in 1992-93. Same free throw line as the men. Learn from the Ladies! lol

WNBA ball is an inch smaller in circumference than the NBA ball and the hoop size is the same, makes a huge difference. 94% with either is still amazing, but for a standing shot like a free throw it isn't fair to compare leagues when one ball is smaller.

As disappointing as the actual fundamentals were last night, it was still a heck of a contest. It was so disconcerting to see a turn over followed by a turnover at the other end, then another turnover at the other end..... I even thought the rims might have been way too "tight" last night. The bounces even on free throws came off hard and fast. The refs called a lot of fouls, but, then again, they were fouls, so hard to just not blow the whistle and let them play. Those guys on both teams were exhausted with eight minutes to go. Surprised they did not sit down on the timeouts to rest the legs, but probably afraid of cramps. It was anybody's game with 30 seconds to go, cannot ask for more than that, so it was a good game imo.

I was surprised the two number one seeds seemed so evenly matched. The guard play of NC was probably the difference last night. Or at least their scoring numbers were. Cannot say the guard play for Gonzaga was bad either. The big guy did disappoint last night. Missed some easy baskets and a couple of crucial free throw towards the end, but then everyone was missing free throws.

OK? It's a FREE throw. You shouldn't suck at shooting them at that level. Steph Curry is a great foul shooter as well. Get good at them. Geez. And, women's hands are smaller so they are handling a ball in proprotion to their hands versus the hands of giants who are holding the equivalent of a tennis ball. Can the Ladies ever get a shout out? Geez.

You are arguing points I never made, my point was it is easier to make a shot at the same sized hoop with a smaller ball which means it is apples/oranges comparing percentages in the two leagues. if you wanted to make it comparable and still have a different ball size you would have to reduce the size of the woman's hoop. It isn't bashing women, it's math. I actually prefer the game in the WNBA vs the NBA, it is more about running an offense/defense than just giving a superstar the ball.

I also think that comparing people paid to do a job to student athletes is unfair.

Too many missed shots by the Zags. Especially by the Big guy. And, the foul shooting was atrocious. Gotta make those. That is often the difference. It is an easy shot to make and they should make those at that level. Makes me crazy to see bad shooting! This. I ran out of WTF, What the FUCK, What.The.Fuck?! before half time. So disappointing. Liquor and cookie dough wasn't even helping....
