My rooting interests are with Iowa in the NIT but I would like to see Northwestern win a couple in the real tourney, I think the have a shot at knocking off Gonzaga in the second round if they can beat Vandy in the first.

There seems to be a lot of first day jitters in the tournament, and some of it is from the fact they do not ever play their opponent in the regular season, so anything can happen.
Unless your Indiana, They were beat bad (again) in the NIT, so Indiana fired the coach!

trying to find a streaming site that doesn't suck. I'll have that as my background noise today and tomorrow instead of music. 

and yay, Irish! bracket is still technically intact, as everything tends to count the winner of the play-in game as unnamed if they then beat their opponent in the first round (I picked Providence to beat SMU, and they lost last night)

Butler had a good second half and won fairly easily.

West Virginia looks like they are pulling away the second half against Bucknell 52 to 43 sixteen minutes to go.
Virginia survived a scare, but won this afternoon. Did not see that game.

the picture is really grainy, like it was back in UHF/VHF days lol.... but you can totally see what's going on. it's better than having to log into your cable account (especially considering I'm probably cancelling mine in the next week or so)

I did go with Northwestern, but it was more of a local Chicago pick from the heart, rather than from my brain, so lucky there.

well, apparently "pumpkin hour" was the 10pm set of games last night. I only got 1 right, so now I haev 6 wrong. only one carried past the next game, though. so that's not as bad as it sounds. although, I think I'm 18 seconds away from another wrong pick. again, doesn't carry past the next round anyway.

Michigan won 92 to 91, and was a great game.

Arkansas just beat Seton Hall, but this great game was tarnished by a disputed flagrant foul call near the end, which in everyone's opinion on tv, that it was not, guarenteeing Arkansas the win

Seton Hall was my pick, but I think Arkansas would have prevailed regardless of the call. It just sealed the victory beyond doubt. The foul was simply a foul the player had to do a stop the clock situation.

I know I cannot play professional football, baseball, basketball, and so on.

I think I could at least hit the perfect drive, sink that 40 foot putt, and pitch out of the sandtrap for a birdie on a consistent basis.
I am wrong of course, but when these pros clink it in the pond, drive it into the neighboring fairway or miss a two foot putt, 
I know I can do that!
Golf is my perfect master. I love it, I hate it.
