This source jumps all over the board on various state or federal taxes, but I found number one rather interesting, and I think this might be why President Trump does not want to release his taxes. Number one in the list deals with real estate investment trust tax rates, or how low they can be. No in depth examination here, but is conceivable Trump Organization receives tax breaks comparable to this. I think we already knew this was the case www.msn.com/en-us/money/taxes/25-facts-about-taxes-in-america/ss-AAnkx5Q?li=BBnb7Kz#image=2

Number one was
#1. 0.16%: EFFECTIVE TAX RATE
In 2015, Equity Residential — a real estate investment trust based in Chicago — paid just 0.16 percent in effective tax rate, the lowest of any company in the S&P 500.

For clarification, I cannot really state Trump has the organization lawfully set up as a trust

I also believe he doesn't want people to see how little he gave to charity and what he's worth. It would prove him a liar, but he's proven that almost a daily.

#24. $271 Billion: Total Amount of Refunds
Everyone loves to get a refund, and there was plenty to go around in the 2015 filing season. The total refund amount was $271 billion, and we can only hope for an even bigger number for the 2016 filing season. I work to have an amount withheld which results in me writing a small check each year.
