Is anyone here watching this show?
A couple of months ago I caught up on my regular shows and decided to check this one out. I didn't think I would like because usually movies to TV doesn't work well. And of course this movie franchise was the bomb and I didn't think the characters could be replaced. But I was pleasantly surprised. I already really liked Damon Wayans. It is funny and they have good chemistry together. I previously had never seen the guy that plays Riggs but he does a fairly good job, just really needs a haircut!  
Anyone else have any thoughts?

Hope it is as good as the moves Lethal Weapon 5 and 6.

Yes, I enjoy the show. I like the chemistry of the two characters. I have always loved Damon Wayans. I also like the character of Damon Wayans wife on the show.
Like you I wasn't sure I was going to like it but a friend told me it was good so I gave it a try. Glad I did.

ok I will admit I am shocked that you like this show? Icelandic Woman the partner, the white guy. which I am guessing is Riggs. looks like a drunk! from the commercials I see! actually the commercials are very disappointing. commercials are intended to show the good points about the show. for me the commercials advertisement definitely keep me away. I know it is a comedy, but nope! not for me! like the practical jokes - Jackass series!  |

And as far as Riggs is concerned if you are familiar with the movies he is suffering from the loss of his wife and unborn baby and yes drinks to forget but I wouldn't call him a drunk. Staying true to the premise.
So you aren't interested in it then don't watch. Problem solved.   |

maybe shocked is the wrong term? expression to use? when actually I shouldn't be. the commercials are just not funny to me. the scene when Roger gets his hand slammed by the trunk of the car, and he yells! not funny! the commercial where Roger is on the phone with I guess his wife. she asking when he is coming home? then Riggs falls out the sky onto a car crushing the roof and exploding the windows. Rager then said something stupid like hey hon - guess who just dropped in? not funny! but you are half right not interested, so very not interested, so I don't and will not watch the show

Some disappointing news about this show. They have fired Clayne Crawford who played Riggs due to difficulties behind the scenes. So Fox has not decided whether they will renew it yet. They are scrambling to find a replacement. I have a feeling that they won't find a suitable replacement and this show will get cancelled.
I watched it for Damon so I wouldn't mind a replacement but FB is blowing up with people saying that if he is gone they won't watch the show anymore.
I do agree that they did have terrific on screen chemistry.
Very sad since this was one of the few successful remakes from a movie franchise.

I am a TV Show and movie fan. with opinions on regarding a lot. shows I have never even heard of. I would most likely 60% chance say it is a stupid show. in comparison is celebrities. people you never met, never talked to and nerve seen. but yet people do not like them. only know of someone from what they might see in the news, or gossip show. I have only seen the stupid commercials for the show Lethal Weapon. gets on my nerves every time. the Riggs character looks like a drunk ho-bo. he needed to go, good riddance
